A quiet week as only Macedonian internationals in England, Belgium, and Israel had games this weekend. Here is how they did:
Belgium, Jupiler League, Germinal Beerschot – Racing Genk 1:0
Tome Pacovski continues to impress as he kept another clean sheet for Germinal. Racing Genk were playing with 10 men when one of their players got a red card in the 40th minute so that made things easier for Germinal who scored the only goal of the game in the 67th minute.
Belgium, Jupiler League, Club Brugge – Cercle Brugge 2:1
Igor Gjuzelov did not play for the visitors who took a surprising lead in the 21st minute before Club Brugge took over the game and scored 2 goals to get all 3 points. Club Brugge is 2nd in the Belgian League with 40 points while Cercle Brugge is 12th with 20 points.
Belgium, Jupiler League, Standard Liege – Lokeren 2:0
Ertan Demiri did not play for Lokeren who are near the bottom of the standings.
England, League Championship, Preston North End – Barnsley
The game was postponed as the conditions were deemed unsafe for the fans so Velice Sumulikoski did not have a chance to play. It was the only game postponed in the England Championship.
Israel, Ligat HaAl, Hapoel Raanana – Maccabi Petah Tikva 3:1
Vanco Trajanov was an unused substitute for Maccabi Petah Tikva.
