Macedonian internationals performances

 Vlatko Grozdanoski is the Macedonian hero who marked these mid-week football confrontations round Europe, by scoring twice for only two minutes in the big 5:0 win of FK Vojvodina over Borac Chachak.

Grozdanoski scored the opening goal in the 17th with a header and only two minutes later he scored his second with a great shot from over 20 meters. The win for Vojvodina was confirmed with three more goals in the second period. With these three points, FK Vojvodina confirms the third place in the Serbian Meridijan Superliga.

In the others Wednesday matches in Serbia, Trichkovski played the first sixties minutes for Red Star Belgrade in the 1:0 win of his club against Chukarichki. The leader in the Meridijan Superliga, Partizan won his match against Mladost, 2:0, and kept the three points advantage over Red Star. The Macedonians in Partizan, Chadikovski and Lazovski were on the bench and the chance was given to Chadikovski two minutes before the final whistle.

In Poland, the Macedonian international Cumbev started the match from the Polish Cup between Groclin Dyskobolia and Wisła Kraków. The home side Groclin has lost the match by one goal to zero, and Cumbev was replaced by the other Macedonian, Ivanoski. Ivanovski had two chances to score the equalizer but the Wisla’s goalkeeper won the duel against Groclin’s striker.

This Wednesday in Bulgaria, Robert Petrov with his club CSKA Sofia won his second title after the one in 2003/04 with Lokomotiv Plovdiv. CSKA without our international Petrov, was victorious in Plovdiv against Botev and insured their title, three days before the end of the season. This was due to the defeat of their only concurrent this year, Levski Sofia. The last year champion Levski, lost in Burgas with two goals to one and our midfielder Darko Tasevski has played 90 minutes. One day earlier, Lokomotiv from Sofia, the club of our international coach Dragi Kanatlarovski, won with the score of 2:0 against Belasica Petrich and now it is alone on the third place in the Bulgarian Vyshka Liga.

On Tuesday the surprise came from Split where the home side of Hajduk has been defeated by NK Osijek in the Croatian NHL. The Macedonian player in the Osijek’s squad, Goran Todorchev, has played ninety minutes in this historical first win for NK Osijek in Split.

Our last represent in these mid-week confrontations was Gorgi Hristov who played today the first sixties minutes for FC Den Bosch in the Holland’s Jupiler Play-offs. His club won 0:1 on the visit against FC Zwolle and is well placed to reach the play-offs semi-finals and to fight for a spot in the Eredivisie the first Holland’s league.
