Macedonian internationals performances (31.07-03.08.2020)

Darko Velkovski, Blagoja Todorovski and Bobi Celeski won Cup trophies, Krste Velkoski and Daniel Krezic scored one goal each, Goran Pandev assisted and avoided relegation with Genoa.

Albania, Kupa e Shqipërisë, Teuta – Tirana 2:0
Blagoja Todorovski and Bobi Celeski won the Albanian Cup trophy after their Teuta defeated Tirana by 2:0 in the Cup final. Todorovski played the whole match in this battle whereas Celeski remained on the bench as the backup goalkeeper.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore relegation play-off, Vllaznia – Besëlidhja 3:1
Mevlan Adili and Andreja Efremov played the entire match for the hosts as they secured their spot in the Albanian top division, while their teammate Filip Gligorov was once again not summoned by Vllaznia.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Western Sydney Wanderers – Wellington Phoenix 1:0
Daniel Georgievski played another full game for the Wanderers as a left back.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Krupa – Sarajevo 0:2
Sarajevo’s captain Krste Velkoski started the new season in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a goal against Krupa and 73 minutes on the field. He opened the score at the start of the second halftime and got substituted after the second goal.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Široki Brijeg – Tuzla City 1:0
Viktor Angelov did not make the squad for Široki Brijeg in the first round of the new Bosnian season.

Bosnia Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Željezničar – Velež 3:0
Konstantin Cheshmedjiev started the match for his new club Velež and he got substituted after the halftime break. Velež conceded three goals in the first half hour so their coach decided to make 4 changes at the start of the second half.

Croatia, Hrvatski Kup, Rijeka – Lokomotiva 1:0
Darko Velkovski played another 90 minutes for Rijeka as they won the cup by defeating Lokomotiva in the final. With this win Rijeka managed to revenge Lokomotiva for taking the last spot that leads to the Champions League qualifications.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga relegation play-off, Orijent – Istra 0:3
Agron Rufati did not get summoned by Istra for the return match of the relegation play-off. His club however easily handled the challenge and managed to save their spot in the Croatian top division.

Finland, Veikkausliiga, HJK – KuPS 2:2
Ferhan Hasani made his first start for HJK in the new league season and he played for 68 minutes. Both of HJK’s goals came after his substitution.

Georgia, Erovnuli Liga, Dinamo Batumi – Samtredia 2:0
Strahinja Krstevski remains out of Samtredia’s squad.

Vladimir Dimitrovski was once again an unused substitute for Telavi, this time in the goalless draw against Merani.

Italy, Serie A, Genoa – Verona 3:0
Goran Pandev played until the 83rd minute in this must win match for Genoa. His team won and secured a place next season in Serie A. Pandev assisted for the second goal when in the 25th minute perfectly served Antonia Sanabria. It was his first assist from active play this season as the other two were by wining a penalty that was later converted. Pandev did not score so he stayed on 9 goals this season which makes this season best for him since 2008/09 when also scored 9 goals wearing the Lazio top.

Italy, Serie A, Napoli – Lazio 3:1
Elif Elmas entered the game from the bench for Napoli in the 84th minute taking the place of Lorenzo Insigne. He also picked up a yellow card deep in the stoppage time. His team finished 7th and qualified for the Europa League by winning the Cup. Elmas featured in 26 Serie A games, scored once and assisted once playing a total of 1.128 minutes.

Italy, Serie A, Sassuolo – Udinese 0:1
Ilija Nestorovski started from the visiting bench and came in instead Stefano Okaka in the 83rd minute. He had one good chance in the 90th minute, but his powerful shot was well saved. With this surprising win Udinese moved up to the 13th place. Ile this season played in 28 matches, scored 3 goals and assisted once with a total of 1.249 minutes.

Italy, Serie B, Trapani – Crotone 2:0
Nikola Jakimovski did not make the bench for Trapani. Despite the win his team got relegated. Jakimovski appeared only in 9 matches this season, but his last was back in October. He recorded one assist.

Norway, Eliteserien, Sarpsborg 08 – Aalesund 4:0
David Mitov Nilsson played another game for Sarpsborg and kept a clean sheet in the drastic 4:0 win against Aalesund.

Highlights:

Romania, Liga I Betano play-off, Botoșani – Gaz Metan 4:1
David Babunski started the game on the bench and he came in as a substitute in the 67th minute. Unlike David, Stefan Ashkovski did not get summoned for this match. In the end their club got an easy 4:1 win against Gaz Metan.

Marko Simonovski wasn’t part of the home squad.

Serbia, Linglong Tire SuperLiga, Voždovac – Radnik 1:3
Marko Gjorgjievski started the game on the hosts’ bench and he entered the field in the 82nd minute. For the visiting side, Nikola Bogdanovski made the start and played for 76 minutes, Zoran Danoski came in as a substitute in the 60th minute, whereas Boban Georgiev did not get summoned.

Serbia, Linglong Tire SuperLiga, Napredak – Partizan 1:3
18 year old goalie Aleksa Jordanov made the bench for Napredak and at the start of the second halftime he already got to make his debut by replaying the first goalkeeper Mladen Živković who suffered an injury. Jordanov played from the 50th minute and he conceded two late goals in the dying minutes of the match. One of the goals came from a penalty kick.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Djurgården – Häcken 3:1
Leonard Zhuta played the entire game for the visitors who lost 3:1 to Djurgården.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Norrköping – Mjällby 1:1
Besard Sabovic made the start in Mjällby’s midfield and he played for 69 minutes.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Varbergs BoIS – Östersund 1:1
Daniel Krezic brought the lead for the hosts just two minutes after the break and later in the 81st minute got substituted with Robin Tranberg. His team failed to keep the lead conceding a late equalizer in the injury time.
