Macedonian internationals performances

Muzafer Ejupi added two more goals for Slaven BelupoJovan Kostovski and Muzafer Ejupi recorded two goals for OH Leuven and Slaven Belupo, respectively, Enis Bardhi scored on a spectacular free kick for Újpest, while Agim Ibraimi collected one assist for Maribor.

Aleksandar Trajkovski played the entire game for Palermo whose dip in form has dropped them only one point from the relegation zone. Trajkovski does not seem to be in sync with his strike partner Alberto Gilardino as Palermo was defeated soundly by Atalanta.

Italy, Serie A, Inter – Genoa 1:0
Goran Pandev opened on the bench for Genoa before he made a late appearance in the 76th minute to take the spot of Diogo Figueiras. Pandev returned to the San Siro stadium to face Inter, one of his former clubs. Goran was mostly quiet during his brief time on the pitch.

Italy, Serie B, Cagliari – Como 1:1
Nikola Jakimovski started in left midfield for Como and played until the 58th minute when he was replaced by Giacomo Casoli. In the 50th minute, Como took the 1:0 lead when a cross by Jakimovski reached Simone Ganz who did the rest with a calm finish.

Austria, tipico Bundesliga, Wolfsberger – Austria Wien 2:0
Vanche Shikov played all 90 minutes for Austria Wien in their disappointing road loss against Wolfsberger, in last place entering the match. Shikov was also shown a yellow card in the 29th minute. Vanche actually caught a break in the 50th minute when he appeared to extend his elbow at an opponent. However, the referee did not see it and Shikov would manage to last the whole match.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Inter Zaprešić – Rijeka 0:0
Stefan Ristovski began on the bench for Rijeka before he was introduced in the 63rd minute to substitute Bekim Balaj, while his teammate Leonard Zuta played all 90 minutes and also received a yellow card in the 68th minute. As for Ilija Nestorovski, he lasted the full match for Inter Zaprešić. Nestorovski had a good chance in the 50th minute, but his finishing was off target. In three meetings so far in the 2015-16 campaign, Rijeka and Inter have settled for three 0:0 draws.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Istra 1961 – Slaven Belupo 0:2
Muzafer Ejupi played the entire game for Slaven Belupo and he happened to notch both goals. His first goal came in the 3rd minute on a header following a corner kick, while his second goal arrived in the 90th minute on a converted penalty kick. Ejupi is now the fifth leading scorer in the Croatian league with 8 goals this season.

Marko Simonovski was not among the 18 players called up by RNK Split.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, OH Leuven – Westerlo 5:1
Jovan Kostovski got the start for OH Leuven and played until the 63rd minute when he made way for Alessandro Cerigioni. Kostovski netted the first two goals for OH Leuven to lead the rout over Westerlo. Jovan scored on a sliding volley from close range and then a header from inside the area.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Club Brugge – Charleroi 2:1
Gjoko Zajkov played the opening 45 minutes for Charleroi before he was replaced at the start of the 2nd half by Clinton Mata. Zajkov was once again fielded at right-back due to an injury crisis at that position. Charleroi was losing 1:0 at halftime, so the manager decided to insert a quick winger in Mata to take the place of Zajkov.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Lokeren – Kortrijk 3:1
Besart Abdurahimi was not summoned in the 18 player matchday squad by Lokeren. Despite the new manager, Abdurahimi continues to see no action for Lokeren in recent times.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Wisła Kraków – Legia 0:2
Ivan Trichkovski started for Legia and played the complete fixture. Legia grabbed both goals after the 85th minute to beat Wisła Kraków. The win moved them five points behind top ranked Piast Gliwice on the standings. As for Trichkovski, he was not very threatening as he still looks out of form.

Poland, Ekstraklasa, Zagłębie Lubin – Termalica 2:0
Aleksandar Todorovski played all 90 minutes for Zagłębie Lubin and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the home victory over Termalica.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Maribor – Krško 6:0
Agim Ibraimi started on the wing for Maribor and played until the 66th minute when he was substituted by Damjan Bohar. Maribor made easy work of last placed Krško by scoring six goals. Ibraimi was involved in the action for the first and fifth goal. In the 6th minute, Agim was credited with an assist when he passed the ball to the eventual scorer Jean-Philippe Mendy. Then, in the 58th minute, Ibraimi had a shot saved by the keeper, but Gregor Bajde was there to tap-in the rebound opportunity.

Zeni Husmani was missing from the Domžale team with an injury.

Turkey, PTT 1. Lig, Yeni Malatyaspor – Adana Demirspor 1:3
Daniel Mojsov did not play for Adana Demirspor due to a yellow cards suspension.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Debrecen – Videoton 1:2
Mirko Ivanovski opened on the bench for Videoton before he made a late appearance in the 83rd minute to replace Asmir Suljic. Ivanovski returned to the matchday squad after a lengthy absence.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Újpest – Diósgyőr 2:1
Enis Bardhi started for Újpest and lasted the full 90 minutes. Bardhi opened the scoring in the 33rd minute on a perfectly placed free kick from about 25 meters. It combined the potent blend of power and accuracy, giving the opposing keeper no chance. In the end, Újpest needed a second goal in the 88th minute to edge Diósgyőr.

Spain, Segunda División B – Group 4, Granada B – Villanovense 2:2
Stole Dimitrievski played from the start for Granada B and conceded two goals in the 29th and 66th minute. The streak of five consecutive clean sheets came to an end for Dimitrievski, but his team was able to avoid a defeat.

Spain, Segunda División B – Group 3, Valencia B – Barcelona B 0:3
David Babunski was not available for Barcelona B due to an injury. Four weeks have now passed (prognosis of how long Barça B thought David would miss), so the hope is that Babunski will return to action very soon.

Dorian Babunski started in attack for Fuenlabrada and played the complete encounter. After trailing 1:0 at the half, Fuenlabrada deployed a very offensive minded lineup in the 2nd half, but they could not break down Sestao.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Radnik Surdulica – OFK Beograd 2:1
Ostoja Stjepanovic began on the bench for OFK Beograd before he was introduced in the 68th minute to take the spot of Damjan Gojkov, while his teammate Daniel Avramovski got the start and played until the 82nd minute when he made way for Filip Rajevac. It was Rajevac who scored the first goal of the match in the 84th minute, but Radnik Surdulica would respond by grabbing two goals in the 88th and 90th minute to stun OFK Beograd.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Mladost Lučani – Rad 1:0
Both Aleksandar Lazevski and Tome Kitanovski lasted the full 90 minutes for Mladost Lučani. Lazevski was fielded at left-back, while Kitanovski played further up in midfield. Tome had one shot on target just before halftime, but his effort from the edge of the area was pushed over the goal for a corner kick. Kitanovski also picked up a yellow card in the 19th minute.

Stefan Ashkovski continues to be sidelined for Novi Pazar with a long-term injury (broken jaw). Last week, Partizan manager Ljubinko Drulovic mentioned that his club might decide to bring back Ashkovski during the winter transfer window. As a reminder, Partizan still owns Ashkovski’s rights (he is on loan at Novi Pazar) until next summer (when his contract expires). Drulovic is familiar with Ashkovski from his days leading the Macedonian national team (he gave Ashkovski several caps). Ljubinko noted that Stefan played well for Novi Pazar before the injury, and he will decide early next year whether Ashkovski rejoins Partizan (by cutting short his loan agreement).

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Široki Brijeg – Sarajevo 1:0
Krste Velkoski opened on the bench for Sarajevo before he made a late appearance in the 83rd minute to substitute Leon Benko. Sarajevo concluded the first half of the season with a narrow loss to find itself in 5th place heading into the long winter break in Bosnia.

Adis Jahovic played the entire game for Krylia Sovetov who suffered a minimal loss by conceding the lone goal in the 1st minute. Jahovic inadvertently prevented a sure equalizer in the 65th minute. A shot by Alan Chochiyev, one of his teammates, was headed for the back of the net, but Adis blocked it as he could not get out of the way. Jahovic also received a yellow card in the 21st minute. Just like the Bosnian league, Russia also entered the winter break after this round.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Wellington Phoenix – Melbourne Victory 2:0
Daniel Georgievski started at left-back for Melbourne Victory and played the complete match. Georgievski has gone back and forth playing on both the right and left side of defense this season.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Schaffhausen – Wohlen 1:1
Ezgjan Alioski played all 90 minutes for Schaffhausen in their home draw against Wohlen. Both goals, one by each team, came in quick succession midway through the 1st half.

Samir Fazli was not available for Wil due to a torn ACL. Fazli is likely to miss the rest of the season.

Taulant Sulejmanov-Seferi remains out of action for Young Boys. There is still no timetable as to when Taulant might return (recovering from surgeries to both knees).

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Qarabağ – Inter Baku 1:0
Vladimir Dimitrovski was not among the 18 players called up by Qarabağ. Dimitrovski got a chance to play in the cup fixture last week, but he has not seen much action in league games.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, Nea Salamis – Ethnikos Achnas 2:2
Martin Bogatinov started at keeper for Ethnikos Achnas and conceded two goals in the 27th and 48th minute. One came on a close range header, while the other came on a shot from inside the area. Bogatinov also got lucky in the 21st minute when the ball appeared to cross the line (confirmed on replays), but the main referee ruled no goal on that occasion.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, Aris Limassol – Ayia Napa 2:0
Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Aris Limassol and kept a clean sheet, while Bojan Markoski was missing from the Ayia Napa squad due to a yellow cards suspension. Nuredinoski made his best save in the 55th minute.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, APOEL – Apollon 0:1
Valmir Nafiu continues to be sidelined for APOEL with an injury. He underwent an operation to his back earlier in the year. Nafiu is another player whose return timetable is unclear.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – BEC Tero Sasana 1:2
Mario Gjurovski started for Muangthong United and played until the 72nd minute when his spot was taken by Chananan Pombuppha. Gjurovski netted the lone goal for Muangthong United in the 28th minute. Following a low free kick into the box, the ball found Gjurovski whose initial shot was blocked, but he quickly regrouped to send his next effort to the back of the net.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Suphanburi – Bangkok Glass 0:0
Darko Tasevski got the start for Bangkok Glass and played until the 76th minute when he was substituted by Suban Ngernprasert. Tasevski, the playmaker for his team, was kept in check by Suphanburi during his time on the pitch.

Slovakia, Fortuna Liga, Ružomberok – Podbrezová 3:2
Darko Tofiloski was fielded at keeper for Ružomberok and conceded two goals in the 56th and 62nd minute. The second goal that he let in came on a long range shot from over 30 meters.

Czech Republic, Synot Liga, Slovácko – Teplice 4:2
Veliche Shumulikoski started in defensive midfield for Slovácko and played until the 88th minute when he received his second yellow card of the game, leading to a sending off. Shumulikoski actually scored the fourth goal for his team in the 77th minute on a right footed shot from inside the area. Then, on the red card, Shumulikoski got in the face of an opponent after his teammate was fouled hard. The referee came running in and gave Veliche his second booking.

Hong Kong, League Cup, Eastern – Pegasus 2:0
Kristijan Naumovski played from the start for Pegasus and conceded two goals in the 12th and 57th minute, the second coming on a converted penalty kick.
