Aleksandar Trajkovski played the entire game for Zulte Waregem and scored the second goal in the 89th minute. The goal was a simple tap-in into an empty net after a cross from the left hand side. Before that, Trajkovski squandered several quality chances, especially in the 75th and 79th minute. Both of those opportunities should have been goals, but Trajkovski’s finishing let him down.

Besart Abdurahimi opened on the bench for Lokeren before he was introduced in the 77th minute to take the place of Ayanda Patosi. Lokeren netted both of its goals through penalty kicks, including one in the 90th minute.

Daniel Mojsov recovered from his badly bruised knee to play all 90 minutes for Lierse. After trailing 0:1 at halftime, Lierse came storming back in the 2nd half to score three unanswered goals. Lierse advanced past Cercle Brugge to head to the second phase of the relegation play-offs in Belgium. They will now face three teams from the second division (Lommel United, Eupen and OH Leuven). Those four teams will compete for the final spot in next season’s top division.

Damjan Shishkovski was not included in the matchday squad by Gent. The home side squandered a two goal lead to miss an opportunity to move into first place. Instead, Club Brugge’s two late goals, to force a draw, kept them two points ahead of second placed Gent.

Jovan Kostovski started in attack for OH Leuven and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Giuseppe Rossini. Kostovski had his best chance midway through the 2nd half when his effort went just wide of the goal.

Vanche Shikov was once again missing from the Austria Wien squad for this game against Altach.

Nikolche Noveski opened on the bench for Mainz before he made a late appearance in the 90th minute to take the spot of Shinji Okazaki. Noveski returned to the bench since Stefan Bell and Niko Bungert recovered from their injuries in central defense. Bell actually happened to score both goals for Mainz.

Arijan Ademi did not feature for Dinamo Zagreb as he was given a rest. The club has had a busy schedule over the past month, so the Dinamo manager decided to sit Ademi who is still being bothered by a plethora of ailments.

Muhamed Demiri continues to be left out of the matchday squad by St. Gallen. As we reported this week, St. Gallen will not renew the expiring contract of Demiri, so his situation will not change until the end of the season.
