Lierse finished in last place and will now enter the play-off III (for teams ranked 15-16) in Belgium. They will play against Cercle Brugge to see who will be directly relegated. The winner of that match-up will then play another play-off against a club from the Belgian second division. Lierse has a lot of work to do if it wants to avoid relegation.

Jovan Kostovski started for OH Leuven and played until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Matthias Trenson. Kostovski scored the game winner in the 71st minute when he sent a header to the back of the net. On their twitter and facebook, OH Leuven wrote that Kostovski was leaving the game due to an injury. However, we talked to the player and he informed us that he is completely healthy. It was just a case of him being taken off to bring on an additional defender to protect the club’s slim lead.

Vanche Shikov played all 90 minutes for Austria Wien at his usual right center-back position. Austria Wien scored a nice goal on a long free kick in the 82nd minute, but Admira equalized three minutes later. Austria Wien will rue two dropped points against the last placed team in the league.
