Macedonian internationals performances (28-31.07.2023)

Dimitar Mitrovski and Andrej Lazarov scored their first goals in Croatia for the new season, Dorian Babunski scored against his brother in Hungary, Daniel Avramovski and Martin Mirchevski provided an assist for their respective clubs, while Visar Musliu debuted for Paderborn with a red card.

Belgium, Belgian Pro League, Eupen – Westerlo 2:2
After missing out the entire past season due to an injury, Erdon Daci found himself in the starting lineup for Westerlo and opened the first round of the new season with 65 minutes in the away draw against Eupen.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, Premijer Liga, Sarajevo – Sloga 1;2
Daniel Avramovski opened the new season in Bosnia with an assist and 90 minutes for Sarajevo. Unfortunately, despite the early lead in the 15th minute, his club eventually ended up suffering a defeat.

Zoran Danoski was very recently promoted to his new club Zvijezda but he was not eligible to play yet this weekend.

Bulgaria, Parva Liga, Krumovgrad – Cherno More 1:3
Vlatko Drobarov started the game on Cherno More’s bench and got introduced at the start of the second halftime. His club has started the season well with 2 wins and 1 draw in the first three rounds so far.

Dime Dimov played the full 90 minutes for the visitors who suffered a heavy defeat from Levski as they conceded 6 goals.

China, Chinese Super League, Shāndōng TàishānBěijīng Guó’ān 3:0
Arijan Ademi played the opening 58 minutes for the visitors. All three goals for the hosts came after Arijan left the field.

Right back Stefan Ristovski made a new start for Dinamo and spent 81 minutes on the field before being taken off.

In only the second round of the season, playmaker Andrej Lazarov already scored his debut goal in Croatia after signing for Rudeš this summer. He picked up a great ball upfront and freed himself from his marker to score a clean goal for 1:0 lead in the 23th minute. Only 16 minutes later his club was already 3:0 ahead of their opponents, but just when everyone thought the job was done, the visitors managed to turn the game around and make it 3:4 in the last few minutes of the match.

Croatia, Hrvatska Nogometna Liga, Varaždin – Slaven Belupo 2:2
Dimitar Mitrovski scored his first goal this season from an astonishingly executed free kick early in the 5th minute of the match. He went on to play for 72 minutes, while his teammate Agon Elezi did not get summoned for this round. Varaždin had a 2:0 lead  until the 81st minute but in the end they had to settle only for a draw against Slaven Belupo.

Filip Antovski remained on the bench for the visiting side.

Finland, Veikkausliiga, SJK – HJK 1:2
Dejan Iliev made the start for HJK but had to be substituted after only 12 minutes of playtime.

Germany, 2.Bundesliga, Greuther Fürth – Darmstadt 07 5:0
Visar Musliu had a disastrous debut for Darmstadt as the starting center back picked up a red card early in the 8th minute of the match, leaving his team down with 10 players. In the end, his club Darmstadt suffered a heavy defeat of 5:0 in the opening round of the 2.Bundesliga.

Hungary, Nemzeti Bajnokság I, Debrecen – Mezőkövesd 3:1
The duel of the brothers Dorian Babunski against David Babunski did not see them facing each other. Dorian was benched and came in in the 78th minute, three minutes after David was taken off. Dorian set the final result with a goal in the 2nd injury minute.

Mario Ilievski played the stoppage time for Kisvárda in the away win against ZTE, for whom Daniel Milovanovikj remained an unused substitute.

Stefan Jevtoski made a late substitute appearance for the hosts as he got introduced in the 89th minute, while Nikola Serafimov remained an unused substitute for the visitors.

Daniel Krezikj watched from the bench as his club suffered another defeat.

Aleksa Amanović played the full match for Astana as they suffered a minimal defeat.

Demir Imeri got introduced from Atyrau’s bench in the 67th minute.

Martin Mirchevski started the game on the bench for TSC and got introduced in the 85th minute. The score stood 2:3 at the time Martin entered the game, but deep in the stoppage time and thanks to Mirchevski’s perfectly executed corner kick, his club managed to equalize and pull a draw against Partizan.

Marko Simonovski immediately found himself in the starting lineup for his new club and he went on to play the full match as his team suffered a home defeat to Navbahor.
