In a match that involved a total of 6 Macedonian players, Andreja Efremov and Filip Gligorov from the home side played the full minutes, whereas their partners Mevlan Adili and Simeon Hristov as well as Artim Polozhani and Agon Elezi from the visiting side did not get any playtime (with Polozhani being sidelined due to a red card suspension). In the battle between the two Macedonian national team players – Dinamo’s Arijan Ademi came out as the big winner against Rijeka’s Darko Velkovski. Both players made the starting lineups for their respective teams, but already in the first minute of the match Dinamo took the lead through a goal by no one else but Ademi. Arijan scored after only 23 seconds of play, which is one of the fastest goals in histoy of the Croatian football. Arijan also picked up a yellow card as the match progessed, and got substituted in the 82nd minute, while Darko went on to play the full match. In the last 10 minutes of the game, Dinamo went on to score three more goals to make it an enormous 4:0 win against Rijeka, who seemed to have fallen apart at the end of the match.
