Macedonian internationals performances

This has become a regular occurence for JahovikjAgim Ibraimi and Besart Abdurahimi each recorded assists when their corner kicks were headed home by defenders, Ivan Trichkovski compiled one goal and two assists for Al-Nasr, Adis Jahovikj added another goal for Krylia Sovetov, Gjoko Zajkov was included in the Rennes matchday squad for the first time, while Krste Velkoski also notched an assist for Sarajevo.

Germany, Bundesliga, Borussia Mönchengladbach – Mainz 1:1
Nikolche Noveski continues to be sidelined with a knee injury for Mainz.  German newspapers, however, reported that Noveski is getting closer and should resume training next week.

Valmir Nafiu was not among the 18 players called up by Hamburg.

Turkey, Spor Toto Süper Lig, Kayseri Erciyesspor – Galatasaray 1:2
Goran Pandev was an unused substitute for Galatasaray.  The problem for Pandev right now, besides the fact that he is still not in the best physical condition, is that the Turkish league only allows five foreigners to start in a single match.  Four are locks to start in Wesley Sneijder, Fernando Muslera, Felipe Melo and Aurélien Chedjou.  That only leaves one spot up for grabs between Pandev, Blerim Džemaili, Alex Telles and Bruma.  Each of those other three players has started at least once over the past month, while Goran is still awaiting his first start in the Turkish league.

Stefan Ristovski was an unused substitute for Parma.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mouscron-Péruwelz – Mechelen 1:1
Tome Pachovski stayed on the bench for Mechelen as the #2 keeper behind Wouter Biebauw.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Lierse – Zulte Waregem 3:1
Aleksandar Trajkovski started in attack for Zulte Waregem and played until the 83rd minute when he was replaced by Willie Overtoom.  Zulte Waregem dropped to last place on the standings after this loss to Lierse (they were bottom two teams heading into their game).

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Lokeren – Oostende 3:1
Besart Abdurahimi got the start for Lokeren and played until the 82nd minute when he made way for Jordan Remacle.  Abdurahimi collected the assist on the second goal for Lokeren in the 54th minute when his corner kick from the left was headed to the back of the net by Mijat Marić.

Belgium, Proximus League, OH Leuven – ASV Geel 2:1
Jovan Kostovski opened on the bench for OH Leuven before he was introduced in the 65th minute replacing Alessandro Cerigioni.

Austria, Tipico Bundesliga, Austria Wien – Wolfsberger 0:2
Vanche Shikov returned from his injury for Austria Wien and played the complete match at his usual right CB position.  Austria Wien conceded one goal in each half to suffer the home loss against Wolfsberger.

Aleksandar Todorovski played all 90 minutes for Sturm Graz and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the slim win over Grödig.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Maribor – Olimpija 3:3
Agim Ibraimi started on the wing for Maribor and played the full 90 minutes in the thrilling Slovenian derby versus Olimpija (also one of Agim’s former clubs).  Ibraimi was credited with one assist in the 19th minute when his corner kick from the right was headed home by Marko Šuler.

Croatia, MAXtv Prva Liga, Dinamo Zagreb – Lokomotiva 3:0
Arijan Ademi played the entire game for Dinamo Zagreb in the comfortable home triumph over Lokomotiva.  Striker Ángelo Henríquez led the way with a hat trick.

Russia, Football National League, Krylia Sovetov – Dynamo St. Petersburg 1:1
Adis Jahovikj played the whole match for Krylia Sovetov and scored the lone goal for his team in the 23rd minute with a close range header following a good cross from the right.  However, Krylia Sovetov only settled for one point in the home encounter against the last placed team in the Russian second division.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, St. Gallen – Basel 2:1
Muhamed Demiri was an unused substitute for St. Gallen.

Ezgjan Alioski played all 90 minutes for Schaffhausen who recorded a come from behind victory to take home all three points.

Zoran Baldovaliev opened on the bench for Chiasso before he was introduced in the 78th minute to replace Mariano Hassell.

Denmark, Superliga, Brøndby – Aalborg 2:1
Ferhan Hasani remains out with an injury for Brøndby.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Brann – Start 1:2
Daniel Mojsov played the entire game for Brann who now has four rounds remaining to escape the relegation zone following this latest loss.  Mojsov started at left-back which is a disaster waiting to happen given his lack of pace.  The first goal for Start came from Mojsov’s side after he struggled dealing with the speed of his marker, leading to an accurate cross and goal.  In the 89th minute, Mojsov had a big chance to tie the game at 2:2, but his shot from a great position was weak and straight at the keeper.

Norway, Tippeligaen, Sarpsborg – Strømsgodset 0:0
Stefan Ashkovski was not among the 18 players called up by Strømsgodset.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Heracles – NAC Breda 6:1
Aleksandar Damchevski played all 90 minutes for NAC Breda who suffered a heavy road defeat against the last placed team on the table.  Heracles had lost their opening seven league games, but they made easy work of NAC Breda to record their first points of the season.

Bulgaria, A Group, Marek – Levski 1:1
Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Levski as the #2 keeper behind Plamen Iliev.

Bulgaria, A Group, Lokomotiv Sofia – Beroe 0:3
Stefan Spirovski started on the bench for Beroe before he was introduced in the 82nd minute to take the place of Brazilian midfielder Elias.  Five minutes later, Spirovski was a bit unlucky when his well struck free kick hit the crossbar.

Bulgaria, A Group, Ludogorets – Slavia 0:0
Kire Ristevski did not feature for Slavia as he is no longer in the plans of new manager Ivan Kolev, while his teammate Dushan Savikj played the opening 45 minutes in this game before he was replaced at the start of the 2nd half by Ivan Valchanov.  Going back to Ristevski, he is currently back in his hometown of Bitola as the new Slavia manager does not want him on the team.  We talked to Kire on Facebook and he said that he will be looking for a new team in the winter transfer window given his current situation.

Spain, Liga BBVA, Málaga – Granada 2:1
Stole Dimitrievski was not included in the Granada squad as Roberto started in goal, while Oier Olazábal was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Spain, Liga Adelante, Barcelona B – Lugo 0:1
David Babunski opened the game on the bench for Barcelona B before he was introduced in the 67th minute to replace fellow midfielder Bicho.

France, Ligue 1, Rennes – Lens 2:0
Gjoko Zajkov was an unused substitute for Rennes.  This was the first time that Zajkov has made the matchday squad of the senior team.  Hopefully it won’t be long before he makes his debut in the French top division.  On social media, Rennes fans told us that Zajkov has been playing well for the reserve team.

United Arab Emirates, Arabian Gulf League, Ajman – Al-Nasr 0:3
Ivan Trichkovski started for Al-Nasr and played until the 80th minute when he was substituted by Abdulla Qasem.  Trichkovski was the player of the match as he played a part in all three goals (one goal and two assists).  His goal came in the 55th minute on a shot from a tight angle, while his two assists came on crosses that were converted each time by his teammate Ibrahima Toure in the 6th and 58th minute.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Wisła Kraków – Jagiellonia 0:2
Ostoja Stjepanovikj remains sidelined for Wisła Kraków with a torn ACL in his right knee.

Romania, Liga I, Astra – Viitorul 0:1
Boban Nikolov opened on the bench for Viitorul before he was introduced at the start of the 2nd half to replace Alexandru Mitriță.  Viitorul scored an early goal in the 2nd minute which proved to be enough in downing Astra.

Hristijan Dragarski made his first league start for Concordia by playing the entire game in central defense, while his teammate Filip Timov was not summoned in the matchday squad.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premier League, Sarajevo – Slavija 3:0
Krste Velkoski played all 90 minutes for Sarajevo and provided the assist on the first goal in the 40th minute when he found Ševko Okić who scored an easy goal into an empty net.  Velkoski’s teammate, Riste Mitrevski, was an unused substitute.  This was the first time that Mitrevski made the bench this season and it came on Sunday which happened to be his 23rd birthday.

Filip Gligorov played the whole match for Olimpic and also received a yellow card in the 75th minute.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, Omonia – Ermis 2:1
Martin Bogatinov started at keeper for Ermis and conceded two goals in the 31st and 81st minute, while his teammate Besart Ibraimi played the opening 60 minutes before he was replaced by Andreas Papathanasiou.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, Ayia Napa – AEK Larnaca 1:2
Bojan Markoski played the entire game for Ayia Napa and scored the lone goal for his team in the 14th minute when he sent a header to the back of the net following a free kick from the right hand side.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Crvena Zvezda – Voždovac 2:2
Daniel Avramovski did not feature for Crvena Zvezda due to an injury, while Tome Kitanovski played the whole match for Voždovac and also picked up a booking in the 45th minute.  Voždovac fought hard to take home a point from the difficult trip to Crvena Zvezda.

Darko Micevski was an unused substitute for OFK Beograd.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Partizani – Flamurtari 0:0
Ardian Cuculi played all 90 minutes for Partizani and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet, while Nijaz Lena also got the start for Flamurtari and stayed on the pitch until the 90th minute when he was replaced by Taulant Kuqi.  Cuculi also received a yellow card in the 23rd minute.

Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and conceded one goal in the 88th minute on a shot from close range.

Dejan Peshevski was not summoned in the matchday squad by Podbrezová.

Veliche Shumulikoski played all 90 minutes for Slovácko who conceded the game winning goal in the 90th minute to Baník Ostrava.

Daniel Ivanovski was not included in the matchday squad by Mjällby due to an injury.

Leonard Zuta played the whole match for Häcken who suffered a bad loss to hurt its chances of obtaining a spot that would lead to a place in the Europa League qualifications next season.

Enis Bardhi got the start for Újpest and played until the 64th minute when he was replaced by Filip Stanisavljević.

Stevica Ristikj started in attack for Jeonnam and played the full 90 minutes in the home draw versus Gyeongnam.
