Macedonian internationals performances (26-29.04.2019)

Aleksandar Trajkovski, Ilija Nestorovski, Mario Gjurovski and Tihomir Kostadinov scored a goal apiece for their respective teams, while Denis Mahmudov provided an assist.

Artim Polozhani played the full game for Flamurtari as center-back.

Ardian Cuculi played the full game for Kukësi as they kept a clean sheet against Teuta. His team-mate Edis Malikji did not make the bench for this match, while Bobi Celeski was the reserve goalie by the visitors.

Daniel Georgievski was not included in the host’s squad for the last round of the season. Daniel will be looking for a new club this summer as his contract expired with the completion of this season.

Jovan Kostovski bis his farewell to his club as they played the last game of the season. Kostovski was not included in the squad for the match and he will be seeking a new club this summer as his contract with Leuven expires at the end of June.

Krste Velkoski started the game for Sarajevo and got substituted in the 80th minute.

Djelil Asani played another full game for Mladost and also picked up a yellow card in the 90th minute.

Darko Glishikj played the full game for Septemvri at his usual left back position, while Aleksandar Isaevski started at the bench for the visitors and entered the game in the 55th minute.

Darko Tasevski started in attacking midfield for Slavia and played until the 58th minute. Worth to mention is that Darko was replaced by Ilian Micanski, a 33-year-old forward born in Bulgaria and with 17 caps for the Bulgarian national team, but with rumors in the past that he has origins for Macedonia and wanted to play for Macedonia when he was younger.

Muzafer Ejupi entered the game for the hosts in the 88th minute, while Arijan Ademi was not included in Dinamo’s squad for this match.

Risto Mitrevski played the whole match for the winning team as his club returned to winning ways. They entered a slump recently and had to change the coach, but they have bounced back with a win and the good news is Mitrevski retained his first-team status under the new coach.

Goran Pandev started the match and played 68 minutes for Genoa. They are looking for a win in 6 games and earned very few points recently, but still look safe from relegation thanks to their strong start of the season.

Italy, Serie B, Livorno – Palermo 2:2
Both Aleksandar Trajkovski and Ilija Nestorovski started the game and both scored a goal each. Nestorovski scored the opening goal by converting a penalty in the 41st minute before he was taken off in the second half. Livorno turned things around completely and Trajkovski had to save a point by scoring goal in the final minutes of the match.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Den Haag – Excelsior 3:1
Denis Mahmudov was given the start for the away team and he played 80 minutes. He provided the assist to the only goal for his side by sending a nice cross from the right side. With this defeat, Excelsior will have to play in the relegation playoff in order to try and avoid relegation.

Antonio Stankov played the whole match for the losing side.

Stefan Ristovski played another solid 90 minutes at the right back position for Sporting as his team won their 10th match in the last 11 games, defeating Vitória with 2:0

Filip Gligorov watched this match from home team’s bench, while Besart Abdurahimi wasn’t included in Hermannstadt’s squad.

Tihomir Kostadinov opened on the hosts right wing and was the decisive man as he netted the lone goal of the game in the 19th minute when he found the back of the net with a left-footed shot. Tihomir lasted 88 minutes on the pitch, while his teammate Yani Urdinov wasn’t called up.

Kire Markoski was fielded as a center-forward by Spartak and played the entire game, whereas Tomche Grozdanovski didn’t make the hosts matchday squad.

Spain, Primera División, Barcelona – Levante 1:0
Enis Bardhi made Levante’s bench and was introduced in the 65th minute to help his team avoid the loss away to giants Barcelona. Eventually in vain as the hosts grabbed three points thanks to Lionel Messi’s goal in the 62nd minute.

Stole Dimitrievski was an unused substitute for Rayo as he served as the reserve goalie.

David Mitov Nilsson spent all minutes on the hosts bench.

Nikola Gjorgjev didn’t make the visitors matchday squad.

Mario Gjurovski played from the 79th minute for Muangthong when his team was 2:1 down and helped his team to grab a point as he netted the equalizer three minutes after he entered the pitch.
