Macedonian internationals performances (24-27.08 ’18)

Zeni Husmani and Adis Jahovic each scored a goal, Mirko Ivanovski earned a penalty and then converted it, Milan Ristovski also converted a penalty while Ezgjan Alioski provided an assist and scored a goal for Leeds.

Artim Polozhani and Goran Siljanovski were 90 minutes part of a defense that kept a clean sheet, while Muhamed Useini made the bench, but didn’t play. For the visitors Edis Malikji and Ardian Cuculi were starters and lasted all minutes on the pitch.

Neither Marjan Altiparmakovski nor Bojan Najdenov made the hosts bench.

Dejan Blazhevski made the start for the hosts and played the whole match in attack, while his teammate Sedat Berisha was an unused substitute. For the other side Bojan Gjorgievski as usual opened on right-back, whereas Bobi Celeski remained on the bench as the reserve goalkeeper.

Arijan Ademi wasn’t summoned by Dinamo as he was given a rest before the important Champions League play-off return leg against Young Boys.

Mirko Ivanovski started in attack for Hajduk and played all minutes. In the 75th minute it was Mirko who equalized when he converted a penalty kick. Furthermore he was the previously fouled player.

Muzafer Ejupi didn’t play because of kidney problems.

Leonard Zhuta played the entire game in defense for Rijeka, while his teammate Darko Velkovski is still injured.

England, Championship, Norwich City – Leeds United 0:3
Leeds United continue their excellent start of the season and Ezgjan Alioski continues with fine performances. He first provided an assist to the first goal in the 21st minute and five minutes later went on to score one for his side. His goal was voted for goal of the round earning him his first personal award this season.

A Macedonian goalkeepers derby in Finland between Davor Taleski and Damjan Shishkovski. The former was between the posts for his club and managed to keep a clean sheet, while the latter was on the bench.

Both Husein Demiri and Demir Imeri started the game for the hosts and both were substituted in the second half. First Imeri left his place to Adam Vidjeskog in the 67th minute, while Demiri was substituted by Argentine winger Sebastián Rusculleda in the 74th minute, three minutes after getting booked.

Mite Cikarski played the whole opening match for the visiting side.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Mezőkövesd – Ferencváros 0:1
Stefan Spirovski started the match and played until 71st minute when he was replaced by his teammate Lukács Bőle.

Risto Mitrevski played the whole match as his team had a brilliant start of the new season in the Israeli top flight.

Italy, Serie A, Genoa – Empoli 2:1
Goran Pandev played until the 54th minute when midfielder Luca Mazzitelli took his place. His team was leading 2:0 at the time and eventually made a 3 points start of the season as this was its first game since previous round’s match was postponed.

Both Aleksandar Trajkovski and Ilija Nestorovski started the match which was part of the opening round in the Italian second league. Nestorovski kept the captain’s armband and played the entire game while Trajkovski was replaced by César Falletti in the 78th minute as last sub. Trajkovski had the best scoring chance of the game as he hit the crossbar in the first half with a volley shot.

Denis Mahmudov was in the starting line-up for Excelsior and was substitute in the 81st minute with defender Robin van der Meer so his team can keep the lead and win away to Breda.

Antonio Stankov played the whole match for Dordrecht and earned a yellow card in the 67th minute.

Portugal, Liga NOS, Benfica – Sporting 1:1
Stefan Ristovski played the full 90 minutes and had another good performance for Sporting. This time his team drew away to title rivals Benfica. He was praised by his fans for the physical play he demonstrated in this derby.

Filip Gligorov was in the starting line-up for the home team and was replaced on half-time by attacker Valentin Alexandru. It was 0:0 at the time.

Zeni Husmani and Agim Ibraimi started for the hosts but didn’t face Daniel Avramovski who was absent from the visiting squad. Husmani played the whole match and scored Domžale’s consolation goal in the last minute, while Ibraimi was taken off for Shamar Nicholson in the 72nd minute.

Milan Ristovski started on the bench and got a chance in the 76th minute, just four minutes after the visitors took the lead. He took the place of Macario Hing-Glover and ten minutes later scored the equalizer from the spot.

Enis Bardhi started for the hosts but he was taken off in 71st minute. His side were surprised with a home defeat after the excellent opening match and away win last week.

Stole Dimitrievski wasn’t included in the visiting squad as he is about to leave the club.

Sweden, Allsvenskan, Norrköping – Göteborg 2:1
David Mitov Nilsson was the reserve keeper for Norrköping who won with two very late goals.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Grasshoppers – Sion 2:1
Nikola Gjorgjev wasn’t summoned by the home team.

Turkey, Süper Lig, Konyaspor – Bursaspor 1:1
Adis Jahovic scored a second minute goal to bring the hosts an early lead. He got booked in the 38th minute and played the entire game. Jani Atanasov remained on the visiting bench.

Elif Elmas played the full 90 minutes for Fener who got surprised away to Göztepe.

Ukraine, Prem’yer-liha, Mariupol – Lviv 2:2
Besir Demiri caused a penalty kick while dueling Lucas Taylor in the 6th minute allowing the visitors to break the dead lock. It was a very severe decision by the referee. In the 39th minute he was substituted by Pavlo Polegenko.
