Macedonian internationals performances

Jahovikj paid his respects to Petar Miloshevski; photo: FacebookAdis Jahovikj netted one goal for Vorskla, Krste Velkoski added another goal for Sarajevo, Mario Gjurovski, Dejan Blazhevski and Dushan Savikj converted penalty kicks for their respective teams, Besart Ibraimi picked up two assists for Enosis, while Muhamed Demiri and Muarem Muarem collected one assist apiece for St. Gallen and Qarabağ, respectively.

Italy, Serie A, Cagliari – Lazio 0:2
Agim Ibraimi opened on the bench for Cagliari before he was introduced at the start of the 2nd half to replace Andrea Cossu.  Ibraimi had his best chance in the 76th minute when his long range effort was saved nicely by the Lazio keeper before going out for a corner kick.

Italy, Serie B, Latina – Trapani 0:1
Stefan Ristovski played the entire game for Latina who suffered a demoralizing loss by conceding the lone goal in stoppage time of the 90th minute.  Latina squandered several quality chances earlier in the match, and Trapani made them pay with a late game winner.

Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Hoffenheim – Mainz 2:4
Nikolche Noveski started at his usual left CB position for Mainz and played all 90 minutes in the come from behind victory over Hoffenheim.  Mainz trailed 2:0 early in the 2nd half but then scored four goals after the 67th minute to get past Hoffenheim.

England, Barclays Premier League, Swansea City – West Brom 1:2
Goran Popov was not included in the 18 player matchday squad by West Brom.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Waasland-Beveren – Standard Liège 1:1
Ivan Trichkovski started for Waasland-Beveren and played until the 90th minute when he was substituted by Mijusko Bojović.  Trichkovski had his best chance of the game in the 79th minute when his shot went just wide of the goal.  Additionally, Ivan picked up a yellow card in the 90th minute for time wasting as he was coming off the pitch.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mechelen – Charleroi 0:3
Tome Pachovski remained on the bench for Mechelen as the #2 keeper behind Wouter Biebauw, while his teammate Aleksandar Trajkovski played the entire game in attacking midfield.  Trajkovski came close on one occasion in the 66th minute, but his effort went just over the goal.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mons – OH Leuven 3:2
Jovan Kostovski served the second match of his three game suspension for OH Leuven.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Karpaty – Volyn 0:1
Vanche Shikov, who was recently reinstated to the first team after being demoted to train with the U19 squad earlier this winter due to a contract dispute, played all 90 minutes for Volyn and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.  The player most responsible for that was Volyn keeper Artem Kychak who made a number of good saves to frustrate Karpaty.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Vorskla – Zorya 1:1
Adis Jahovikj started in attack for Vorskla and played until the 81st minute when he was substituted by Oleh Barannik.  Jahovikj scored the only goal for Vorskla in the 50th minute with a close range header following a corner kick from the right.  Jahovikj then took off his jersey and paid his respects to Petar Miloshevski with a shirt underneath that read “Pocivaj Vo Mir Petar.”  That translates to “Rest In Peace Petar,” alluding to the FFM sporting director who died in a car accident this past Thursday.  For taking off the jersey, however, the referee did give Adis a yellow card.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Tavriya – Dynamo Kyiv 1:2
Boban Grncharov played the entire game for Tavriya who opened the second half of the season with a home loss against Dynamo Kyiv.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Steaua București – Gaz Metan Mediaș 3:0
Neither Daniel Georgievski nor Martin Bogatinov were called up by Steaua București.

Mirko Ivanovski was an unused substitute for Astra.

Kristijan Naumovski stayed on the bench for Dinamo București as the #2 keeper behind Cristian Bălgrădean.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Viitorul – Săgeata Năvodari 0:0
Boban Nikolov remained out with a groin injury for Viitorul.  Nikolov informed us that he expects to resume training with Viitorul early next week.

Romania, Liga II, UTA Arad – CS Universitatea Craiova 0:1
Tome Kitanovski was an unused substitute for CS Universitatea Craiova.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, St. Gallen – Young Boys 1:1
Muhamed Demiri started in defensive midfield for St. Gallen and played until the 67th minute when he was replaced by attacker Goran Karanović.  Demiri provided the assist on the lone St. Gallen goal in the 25th minute when he made a long pass towards Stéphane Nater who then rounded the Young Boys keeper before scoring into the empty net.

Ezgjan Alioski was an unused substitute for Schaffhausen, while his teammate Deni Krleski came off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace André Gonçalves.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Legia Warszawa – Wisła Kraków 2:2
Ostoja Stjepanovikj played the entire game for Wisła Kraków and took a free kick from a good position in the 54th minute that struck the Legia wall.  Wisła came back from two goals down to collect a point in the matchup between the top two teams on the standings in Poland.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Lechia Gdańsk – Widzew Łódź 2:0
Yani Urdinov started at left-back for Widzew Łódź and played until the 67th minute when he was substituted by Mariusz Rybicki.  At that point, besides Urdinov, the Widzew Łódź manager also took out the right-back as well in a double switch.

Poland, I Liga, GKS Bełchatów – Chojniczanka 1:1
Hristijan Kirovski played all 90 minutes for GKS Bełchatów in the home draw against Chojniczanka.

Denmark, Superliga, Esbjerg – Brøndby 0:0
Ferhan Hasani was not included in the Brøndby squad due to a muscle strain injury.

Denmark, Superliga, Odense – Viborg 1:1
Aleksandar Stankov started in attack for Viborg and played until the 80th minute when he was replaced by Lucas Jensen.

Spain, Segunda Division, Deportivo La Coruña – Barcelona B 0:0
David Babunski was an unused substitute for Barcelona B.Darko Tasevski also showed his respects for Petar Miloshevski

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Suphanburi – Bangkok Glass 2:0
Darko Tasevski played all 90 minutes for Bangkok Glass and his best chance came in the 6th minute when his free kick was barely saved by the diving Suphanburi keeper.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Muangthong United – Police United 1:1
Mario Gjurovski played the entire game for Muangthong United and scored an early goal in the 5th minute when he converted a penalty kick.  Muangthong then wasted a number of good chances to extend the lead, and Police United made them pay in the 68th minute when they tied the game.

Austria, tipp3 Bundesliga, Sturm Graz – Austria Wien 1:1
Aleksandar Todorovski played from the start for Austria Wien who needed a late equalizer via a converted penalty in the 87th minute to salvage a point in the home encounter against Austria Wien.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Rad – Partizan 2:4
Aleksandar Lazevski played all 90 minutes for Rad in the home loss against Partizan where he began his career.  Partizan first led 0:2, then Rad scored two goals to make it 2:2, before Partizan pulled away once again to collect a 2:4 victory on the road.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Napredak – Donji Srem 4:2
Stefan Ashkovski played the entire game for Napredak in the high scoring win over his former team Donji Srem.  Ashkovski spent the first half of the season on loan Donji Srem before his parent club loaned him to Napredak for the second half of the season.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, OFK Beograd – Novi Pazar 0:1
Darko Micevski was an unused substitute for OFK Beograd.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Jagodina – Voždovac 0:0
Nikola Jakimovski started for Jagodina and played until the 62nd minute when he was replaced by Milos Lepović.  Jakimovski had his best chance in the 55th minute when he controlled a cross with his chest, but his right footed shot was saved by the visiting keeper.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Crvena Zvezda – Radnički 1923 1:0
Dragan Chadikovski opened the game on the bench for Radnički 1923 before he made a late introduction in the 87th minute to substitute Radovan Krivokapić.

Slovakia, Corgoň Liga, Košice – Žilina 1:0
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and kept a clean sheet in the narrow home victory over Žilina.  Tofiloski made his best save in the 27th minute when he parried away a powerful header following a free kick from the right.  Košice has now played three games during the second half of the season and Tofiloski has yet to concede a goal.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Sumgayit – Khazar Lankaran 0:1
Both Dejan Blazhevski and Nikola Gligorov played the entire game for Khazar Lankaran.  Blazhevski also happened to score the lone goal in the 65th minute when he converted a penalty kick.  It was Dejan’s first league goal since joining Khazar during the winter transfer window.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, Inter Bakı – Qarabağ 0:3
Muarem Muarem played all 90 minutes for Qarabağ in central midfield, while Slavcho Georgievski was an unused substitute for Inter Bakı.  Muarem was credited with the assist on the third and final goal for the visitors in the 88th minute when he found Maksim Medvedev who created some space inside the area before firing a shot past the Inter Bakı keeper.

Igor Mitreski was an unused substitute for Neftçi.

Edin Nuredinoski stayed on the bench for Bakı as the #2 keeper behind Aqil Mammadov.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, Enosis – Kouklia 2:1
Besart Ibraimi played the entire game for Enosis and provided both assists for his team in the 74th and 76th minute.  On both goals for the home side, Ibraimi made crosses that were headed to the back of the net by Igor Angulo.  Enosis dedicated this win to their former club legend Petar Miloshevski who tragically died this past Thursday in a car accident.  There was a moment of silence before the start of the game in honor of Miloshevski, and it was only fitting that Ibraimi, who transferred to Enosis with the help of Petar, played a big part in the win over Kouklia.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, Ermis – Omonia 1:1
Armend Alimi played all 90 minutes for Ermis and also received a yellow card in the 61st minute during the home draw against Omonia.

Filip Timov opened the match on the bench for Aris Limassol before he was introduced at the start of the 2nd half to take the place of Juha Hakola.

Sweden, Svenska Cupen, Häcken – Mjällby 3:0
Daniel Ivanovski played the entire game for Mjällby as did Leonard Zuta for Häcken.  Ivanovski played at right-back, while Zuta played at left-back.  Häcken scored all three goals after the 72nd minute to down Mjällby in the Swedish Cup, Zuta providing the assist on the second goal in the 74th minute.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Feyenoord – Heerenveen 2:0
Samir Fazli was an unused substitute for Heerenveen.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Zwolle – Go Ahead Eagles 2:0
Denis Mahmudov began the game on the bench for Zwolle before he was introduced in the 61st minute to replace midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Excelsior – MVV Maastricht 0:1
Antonio Stankov started at right-back for MVV Maastricht and played all 90 minutes in the slim road victory over Excelsior.  Stankov had one quality chance midway through the 2nd half, but he sent his effort from a good position over the goal.

Bulgaria, A Group, Slavia – Neftochimic 5:1
Kire Ristevski played the entire game for Slavia who responded from an early deficit to score the next five goals in a comfortable home victory over last placed Neftochimic.

Bulgaria, A Group, Chernomorets – Lyubimets 5:0
Aleksandar Damchevski did not feature for Chernomorets in their convincing triumph over Lyubimets.

South Korea, K League Classic, Jeonnam – Jeju United 1:2
Stevica Ristikj played from the start for Jeonnam in the slim home defeat against Jeju United.  On the lone goal by Jeonnum in the 63rd minute, Ristikj initially took the credit for the goal but replays showed it was a clear own goal as a Jeju United player inadvertently sent a header past his own keeper.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Mladost – Sarajevo 0:2
Krste Velkoski started on the bench for Sarajevo before he entered the game in the 76th minute replacing Milos Stojčev.  Four minutes later, Velkoski added the second goal for Sarajevo when he sent a shot to the back of the net following a cross by his teammate Mato Jajalo.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Čelik – Zvijezda 3:1
Vlade Lazarevski played all 90 minutes for Zvijezda in the road defeat against Čelik.  All four goals between the two teams were scored in the 2nd half, Zvijezda’s lone goal coming in the 90th minute.

Belarus, Super Cup, BATE Borisov – Minsk 1:0
Predrag Rangjelovikj played the entire game for Minsk and also received a yellow card in the 22nd minute.  Minsk suffered a narrow loss to lose the Belarusian Super Cup trophy to BATE Borisov.

Kazakhstan, Premyer Ligasi, Kaisar – Ordabasy 1:0
Dushan Savikj made his league debut for Kaisar by starting in attack and playing until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Sergei Mošnikov.  Savikj scored the lone goal in the 26th minute when he converted a penalty to hand Kaisar a winning start in the opening round of the 2014 season.

Nikola Tonev started at CB for Tobol and played all 90 minutes in the slim win over Spartak Semey.

Georgia, Umaglesi Liga, Dinamo Tbilisi – Metalurgi Rustavi 0:1
Darko Glishikj was an unused substitute for Dinamo Tbilisi.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Viktoria Plzeň – Slovácko 0:0
Veliche Shumulikoski played the entire game for Slovácko in the goalless draw against Viktoria Plzeň.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Příbram – Sparta Praha 0:1
Zoran Danoski was an unused substitute for Příbram.

Slovenia, PrvaLiga Telekom Slovenije, Krka – Domžale 0:2
Zeni Husmani played all 90 minutes for Domžale who scored a goal in each half to get past Krka.

Greece, Football League, Paniliakos – Fostiras 0:2
Marjan Altiparmakovski played the entire game for Paniliakos and came close to scoring in the 73rd minute, but his effort was well saved by the visiting keeper.

Zoran Baldovaliev was an unused substitute for Kerkyra.

Greece, Football League, Tyrnavos – Ethnikos Gazoros 1:0
Ivan Nastevski opened the match on the bench for Ethnikos Gazoros before he came on at the start of the 2nd half to replace Sotiris Konstantinidis.

Croatia, 2.HNL, Inter Zaprešić – Segesta 1:0
Ilija Nestorovski played all 90 minutes for Inter Zaprešić and scored the only goal of the game in the 87th minute to hand the home side all three points.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Vllaznia – Partizani 0:1
Nderim Nedzipi, Mevlan Murati and Ertan Demiri all played from the start for Partizani, Nedzipi scoring the lone goal of the match just before halftime when he converted a penalty kick.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Flamurtari – Teuta 0:0
Nijaz Lena started in midfield and played the entire game for Flamurtari in the goalless draw against Teuta.  Lena also received a yellow card in the 63rd minute.
