Macedonian internationals performances

Trichkovski (second from L) after one of his team's goals; photo: waasland-beveren.beJovan Kostovski netted one goal in a game against Club Brugge, Ivan Trichkovski provided an assist for Waasland-Beveren, Darko Tasevski debuted with two assists for Bangkok Glass, Mario Gjurovski amassed a goal and an assist for Muangthong United, Besart Ibraimi added two more goals for Enosis, while Kire Ristevski opened with a goal for his new team Slavia.

Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Schalke 04 – Mainz 0:0
Nikolche Noveski played all 90 minutes for Mainz and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw against Schalke.  There has been recent speculation that Noveski also plans to retire from the national team, and FFM is expected to announce Nikolche’s intentions next week when the squad is named for the Latvia friendly.  However, if the reports are true, then both Pandev and Noveski, the two most accomplished Macedonian players at the moment, would have retired from the Macedonian squad.

Italy, Serie A, Inter – Cagliari 1:1
Agim Ibraimi was among the 20 players who were called up by Cagliari for the trip to Inter, but he ultimately did not make the 18 player machday squad of the visiting team.

Italy, Serie B, Virtus Lanciano – Latina 0:0
Stefan Ristovski started for Latina and played until the 73rd minute when he was substituted by Abdelkader Ghezzal.

England, Barclays Premier League, West Brom – Fulham 1:1
Goran Popov was not included in the 18 player matchday squad by West Brom.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Genk – Waasland-Beveren 0:2
Ivan Trichkovski played the entire game for Waasland-Beveren and provided the assist on the second goal in the 48th minute when he combined nicely with the goalscorer Aboubakar Oumarou.  Trichkovski then managed to score a goal himself in the 74th minute, but it was ruled out for an offside.  Ivan was not happy with the decision and got a yellow card for a disagreement with the referee.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Cercle Brugge – Mechelen 3:2
Tome Pachovski stayed on the bench for Mechelen as the #2 keeper behind Wouter Biebauw, while Aleksandar Trajkovski got the start and played until the 59th minute when he was replaced by Senad Karahmet.  Mechelen had a huge collapse in wasting a 0:2 road lead by conceding three goals after the 86th minute on their way to an excruciating loss against Cercle Brugge.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, OH Leuven – Club Brugge 2:5
Jovan Kostovski played all 90 minutes for OH Leuven and scored the first goal for his team in the 70th minute with a precise shot past the Club Brugge keeper.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Astra – Corona Braşov 3:0
Mirko Ivanovski was an unused substituted for Astra.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Dinamo București – Viitorul 1:2
Kristijan Naumovski played from the start for Dinamo București and conceded two goals in the 80th and 89th minute, while Boban Nikolov was not included in the matchday squad by Viitorul.  On the first goal, Naumovski saved a shot by a Viitorul player, but the rebound hit a Dinamo defender in the stomach before the ball crossed the line for an own goal.  Then, in the 89th minute, Viitorul converted a penalty past Naumovski to take home all three points.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Săgeata Năvodari – Botoșani 1:0
Aco Stojkov did not play for Botoșani as he was still not cleared to suit up for his new club.  Stojkov told us that he is optimistic his document issues will be sorted out in time for the next game.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Lausanne-Sport – St. Gallen 3:0
Muhamed Demiri was not included in the St. Gallen squad due to feeling under the weather.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Schaffhausen – Chiasso 2:1
Ezgjan Alioski played the entire game for Schaffhausen who needed a late game winner in the 86th minute to get past Chiasso.  Schaffhausen remains just three points behind top ranked Vaduz, and those two teams meet next Saturday in what will be a big game.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Wisła Kraków – Cracovia 3:1
Ostoja Stjepanovikj started in defensive midfield for Wisła Kraków and played until the 76th minute when he was substituted by Łukasz Garguła.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Widzew Łódź – Piast Gliwice 1:1
Yani Urdinov was not included in the Widzew Łódź squad due to a red card suspension.  Urdinov was suspended two games for his red card, so he will miss the next match as well.

Denmark, Superliga, Brøndby – Aalborg 2:2
Ferhan Hasani started on the wing for Brøndby and played until the 83rd minute when he was replaced by José Ariel Núñez.  Hasani had one effort early in the 2nd half that went just wide of the goal.

Denmark, Superliga, Viborg – Randers 1:1
Aleksandar Stankov played all 90 minutes for Viborg who took the initial lead in the 58th minute before conceding the equalizer soon thereafter in the 65th minute.  Stankov has his best chance in the 26th minute, but he squandered the opportunity.

Spain, Segunda Division, Barcelona B – Recreativo Huelva 0:1
David Babunski started for Barcelona B and played until the 57th minute when he was substituted by Dani Nieto.

Thailand, Toyota Thai Premier League, Chiangrai United – Bangkok Glass 0:2
Darko Tasevski made his league debut for Bangkok Glass by playing all 90 minutes in attacking midfield.  Tasevski provided both assists in the 39th and 42nd minute, each goal scored by striker Teeratep Winothai, to lead Bangkok Glass to a winning start in the opening round of the 2014 season in Thailand.

Mario Gjurovski played the entire match for Muangthong United and collected a goal and an assist, his game winner coming on a converted penalty in stoppage time of the 90th minute.  Earlier in the 76th minute, Mario’s assist came on a free kick that was headed in by attacker Wuttichai Tathong.  That tied the game at 1:1 before Gjurovski’s late penalty propelled Muangthong to snatch three points.

Austria, tipp3 Bundesliga, Ried – Sturm Graz 2:2
Aleksandar Todorovski started at right-back for Sturm Graz and played all 90 minutes in the road draw against Ried.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Čukarički – Rad 2:0
Aleksandar Lazevski played the entire game for Rad who conceded a goal in each half to open the second half of the season with a road loss against Čukarički.  Lazevski had the first big chance of the game in the 12th minute following a counter attack, but his volley attempt from a good position went narrowly over the goal.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Napredak – Jagodina 2:1
Stefan Ashkovski played all 90 minutes for Napredak at left-back, while Nikola Jakimovski came off the bench for Jagodina in the 80th minute to substitute Ivan Cvetković.  Jakimovski attempted one shot in the 90th minute that went over the goal.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Voždovac – OFK Beograd 1:0
Darko Micevski started in midfield for OFK Beograd and played until the 56th minute when he was substituted by Dejan Dražić.  Micevski also received a yellow card in the 34th minute.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Radnički 1923 – Radnički Niš 0:0
Dragan Chadikovski started for Radnički 1923 and played until the 89th minute when he was replaced by Dejan Miljuš.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Slovácko – Jablonec 1:0
Veliche Shumulikoski played the entire game for Slovácko who scored the lone goal early in the 3rd minute to get past Jablonec.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus Liga, Příbram – Bohemians 1905 1:0
Zoran Danoski was an unused substitute for Příbram.

Azerbaijan, Topaz Premyer Liqası, AZAL – Khazar Lankaran 2:2
Dejan Blazhevski was an unused substitute for Khazar Lankaran, while his teammate Nikola Gligorov was not included in the matchday squad.

Igor Mitreski played all 90 minutes for Neftçi and also received a yellow card in the 84th minute during the bad loss against Sumgayit.

Slavcho Georgievski played the entire game for Inter Bakı in defensive midfield, while Edin Nuredinoski stayed on the bench for Bakı as the #2 keeper behind Aqil Mammadov.

Muarem Muarem began on the bench for Qarabağ before he came on in the 56th minute to replace Nikoloz Gelashvili.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Heerenveen – NAC Breda 0:0
Samir Fazli opened the game on the bench for Heerenveen before he was introduced in the 50th minute to take the place of Anthony Lurling.

Netherlands, Eredivisie, Zwolle – Heracles 1:1
Denis Mahmudov got the start for Zwolle and played until the 38th minute when the manager made the tactical decision to bring on Fred Benson.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Volendam – MVV Maastricht 0:1
Antonio Stankov played all 90 minutes for MVV Maastricht who scored the lone goal of the match in stoppage time of the 90th minute to take home all three points.

Bulgaria, A Group, Levski – Slavia 2:2
Kire Ristevski played the entire game for Slavia and scored the second goal for his team in the 74th minute on a header following a free kick from the left hand side.

Stefan Spirovski started in midfield for Beroe and played until the 75th minute when he was substituted by Georgi Kostadinov.  Spirovski also picked up a yellow card in the 13th minute.

Georgia, Georgian Cup, Metalurgi Rustavi – Dinamo Tbilisi 0:2
Darko Glishikj started on the bench for Dinamo Tbilisi before he entered the game in the 80th minute replacing Giorgi Merebashvili.

Cyprus, First Division Championship, Enosis – Alki 5:0
Besart Ibraimi played all 90 minutes for Enosis and continued scoring by adding two more goals in the 21st and 25th minute.  The first goal came on a shot from the edge of the area, while the second was on a shot from inside the area.

Filip Timov was an unused substitute for Aris Limassol.

Greece, Football League, Paniliakos – Olympiacos Volos 1:0
Marjan Altiparmakovski started on the bench for Paniliakos before he entered the game in the 57th minute replacing Kostas Konstantinidis.  Marjan unleashed one shot in the 79th minute, but his effort went just over the goal.

Ivan Nastevski was not among the 18 players called up by Ethnikos Gazoros.
