Goran Popov opened the game on the bench for West Brom before he was introduced late in the 88th minute to replace Morgan Amalfitano. West Brom led 1:2 at that point in the game, but then the referee handed Chelsea a penalty deep into stoppage time which Eden Hazard converted to ensure a 2:2 draw.
