Italy, Serie A, Napoli – Livorno 4:0

Germany, 1.Bundesliga, Mainz – Hoffenheim 2:2
Nikolche Noveski played the entire game for Mainz and proved instrumental in his team claiming a point for his role in the equalizing goal in stoppage time of the 90th minute.  Although Noveski was originally credited with the goal, that ruling was later reversed as the goal was actually netted by Yunus Mallı.  With Mainz having won a corner late in stoppage time and being down 1:2, the home keeper went forward and rose up to win the header on that subsequent corner kick.  A Hoffenheim player could not quite clear the danger and then Noveski made a sliding attempt at the ball in front of goal that led to a wacky equalizer.  The Noveski sliding attempt was blocked by the same Hoffenheim player but then the ball hit Yunus Mallı, who was just laying on the ground and not even facing the goal, in the back before the ball went past the Hoffenheim keeper.  In real speed, Noveski appears to have scored the goal, but on slow motion replays it is evident that the ball last came off of Mallı’s back.
