Prior to coming off the pitch, Pandev provided an assist and also scored the game winning goal in the 81st minute. Goran was credited with a rather fortunate assist in the 65th minute when he failed to control a long pass but luckily the ball reached Edinson Cavani who did the rest by firing a shot past the Atalanta keeper. Then, in the 81st minute, with the game tied at 2:2, Pandev scored with a tap in from close range after being set up nicely by Pablo Armero.

Shikov, meanwhile, also picked up a yellow card in the 16th minute.

Trajkovski scored the second goal for the visitors in the 60th minute when he received a pass with a ton of space around him, and then fired a shot past Pachovski. Shortly after the conclusion of the match, Pachovski was shown his second yellow card by the referee for protesting, thus leading to a red card. Tome had picked up his first yellow card in the 81st minute, also for protesting, after attacker Ibrahima Conte seemed to score the third goal for Zulte Waregem with his hand.
