The second half of the season resumed in several countries, including Germany and Belgium, although the teams of Ivan Trichkovski (Club Brugge) and Aleksandar Trajkovski (Zulte Waregem) had games postponed due to snowy conditions.

Italy, Serie A, Fiorentina – Napoli 1:1
Goran Pandev played the entire game for Napoli in attack during the road draw against Fiorentina.  Napoli went down 1:0 after the keeper terribly misplayed a long ball that resulted in a goal being scored from the middle of the field.  However, Napoli equalized just before halftime through Edinson Cavani whose header reached the back of the net following a cross by Marek Hamsik.

England, Premier League, West Brom – Aston Villa 2:2
Goran Popov was an unused substitute for West Brom.

Germany, Bundesliga, Mainz – Freiburg 0:0
Nikolche Noveski played all 90 minutes for Mainz and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet as the German season resumed following the winter break.  Noveski had one effort on goal just before halftime but his shot was saved by the Freiburg keeper.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mons – Mechelen 2:3
Tome Pachovski played from the start for Mechelen and conceded two goals in the 19th and 31st minute.

Israel, Ligat Winner, Hapoel Be’er Sheva – Ironi Kiryat Shmona 1:0
Darko Tasevski played the entire game for Ironi Kiryat Shmona in midfield and also received a yellow card in the 76th minute.  Tasevski should have done better in the 67th minute when a pass put him through on goal, but he was too unselfish and attempted a pass instead of shooting from close range.  The pass eventually was a tad long for his on-charging teammate, leading to a missed opportunity.

Nikola Gligorov was an unused substitute for Alki in the road draw against Enosis.

Bojan Markoski did not play for Apollon due to a red card suspension.

Yani Urdinov was not called up by AEK Larnaca while Armend Alimi played all 90 minutes for Nea Salamis who managed to take home all three points by scoring a late game winner in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Marko Jovanovski was not summoned by Ethnikos Achnas as Arkadiusz Malarz started in goal while Marko Šarlija was on the bench as the #2 keeper.

Bajram Fetai played the entire game for Denizlispor who began the second half of the season with a convincing defeat away to Trabzon.

Marjan Altiparmakovski was not included in the squad by Kerkyra who settled for a goalless draw in their home encounter against Kerkyra.
