Macedonian internationals performances

Italy, Serie A, Napoli – Fiorentina 2:1
Goran Pandev did not play for Napoli as he served the second and final game of his suspension for picking up a red card in the Italian Super Cup final against Juventus.

Italy, Serie B, Ascoli – Bari 1:3
Stefan Ristovski was not included in the Bari squad due to an injury.  Ristovski suffered a sprained ankle on 31 August as a result of the bad pitch conditions at the “San Nicola” stadium where Bari was training one day before their match against Ascoli.

England, Premier League, West Brom – Everton 2:0
Goran Popov, by signing with West Brom just before the close of the transfer window on Friday, was not eligible to play for his new club on Saturday who beat Everton to remain undefeated.

Germany, Bundesliga, Mainz – Greuther Fürth 0:1
Nikolche Noveski played all 90 minutes for Mainz whose first home game of the new season ended in a slim loss against Greuther Fürth.  Noveski had a big chance to tie the game in the 82nd minute, following a corner kick, but his header from close range was saved nicely by the visiting keeper.

Germany, Bundesliga, Wolfsburg – Hannover 96 0:4
Ferhan Hasani was not among the 20 players called up by Wolfsburg.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Volyn – Metalist Kharkiv 2:1
Vanche Shikov returned from his one game red card suspension for Volyn to play the entire game at CB in the home win over Metalist.  Shikov’s teammate Dushan Savic was not called up for the game.

Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Karpaty – Metalurh Donetsk 0:1
Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Karpaty and conceded one goal in the 59th minute.  Shortly after the goal, Bogatinov was shown a yellow card for protesting to the referee.  Karpaty played the majority of the match with 10 men after Oleksandr Kasyan received a red card in the 12th minute.

Ukraine, Persha Liha, Sevastopol – Avangard 1:0
Besart Ibraimi started on the bench for Sevastopol before he came on in the 72nd minute replacing Volodymyr Tanchyk.  Sevastopol scored the lone goal in the 85th minute to collect all three points.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Club Brugge – Standard Liège 4:2
Ivan Trichkovski was not included in the Club Brugge squad due to an injury.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Mechelen – Beerschot 0:2
Tome Pachovski stayed on the bench for Mechelen as the #2 keeper behind Olivier Renard.

Belgium, Jupiler Pro League, Zulte Waregem – Mons 2:4
Aleksandar Trajkovski began the game on the bench for Zulte Waregem before coming on at the start of the 2nd half replacing midfielder Jonathan Delaplace.

Switzerland, Raiffeisen Super League, Thun – Servette 3:0
Muhamed Demiri got the start in midfield for Thun and played until the 76th minute when he was substituted by Luca Zuffi.  Thun snapped a three game losing streak in league play with the comfortable win over last placed Servette.

Switzerland, Challenge League, Wil – Vaduz 3:1
Adis Jahovic started for Wil and played until the 88th minute when he was replaced by Berkan Afsarli.  Jahovic was once again the man of the match by playing a part in all three goals for Wil.  Jahovic opened the scoring in the 56th minute, provided the assist on the second Wil goal in the 67th minute and then converted a penalty in the 77th minute for two goals and an assist.  Jahovic is only eligible to play these days since he is appealing his 10 game suspension for apparently threatening a referee.  The Swiss Football League will hear the appeal by Jahovic on 4 September and then make a decision whether to uphold the suspension or reduce it.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Steaua Bucureşti – Oțelul Galați 2:1
Daniel Georgievski played all 90 minutes for Steaua Bucureşti and played a part in the first goal of the game in the 3rd minute.  Georgievski’s cross reached Mihai Pintilii who made a headed pass to Adi Rocha to score with a header of his own from close range.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Astra Ploiești – Dinamo Bucureşti 1:0
Mirko Ivanovski started for Astra Ploiești and played until the 75th minute when he made way for Fwayo Tembo, while Kristijan Naumovski returned as the starting keeper for Dinamo Bucureşti and conceded one goal from a converted penalty deep into stoppage time of the 90th minute.  Ivanovski had a good chance in the 6th minute but his sliding effort from close range went over the goal.  Ivanovski also caused Dinamo defender Paul Koulibaly to be shown a red card in the 49th minute after the referee ruled that Ivanovski was elbowed in the face, leading to a red card for Koulibaly.

Romania, Liga I Bergenbier, Pandurii – Rapid Bucureşti 2:0
Bazhe Ilijoski was not included in the Rapid Bucureşti squad due to an injury.  Ilijoski picked up a knock in training earlier in the week and could not recover in time for the Pandurii match.

Egzon Belica played from the start for Concordia in the home loss against Universitatea Cluj.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Maribor – Rudar 4:0
Agim Ibraimi got the start for Maribor and played until the 70th minute when he was substituted by Zeljko Filipovic in the easy win over Rudar.

Slovenia, 1. SNL, Gorica – Domžale 1:2
Zeni Husmani played all 90 minutes for Domžale who squeaked past Gorica to take home all three points.  Husmani had an early chance in the 4th minute but his shot from around 20 meters was saved by the opposing keeper before going for a corner.

China, Super League, Tianjin Teda – Dalian Shide 1:1
Veliche Shumulikoski played the entire game for Tianjin Teda in midfield during the home draw against Dalian Shide.  Tianjin Teda has now gone six consecutive league games without a loss.

Austria, Tipp 3 Bundesliga, Rapid Wien – Mattersburg 3:0
Ilcho Naumoski was an unused substitute for Mattersburg.

Bulgaria, A PFG, Botev Plovdiv – Montana 3:1
Boban Grncharov played all 90 minutes for Botev Plovdiv who has now compiled 9 points from the opening four league games.  Botev has won all three home games this season while their lone road game away to Levski resulted in its only loss.

Dragi Kocev started for Pirin and played until the 65th minute when he was replaced by Ivan Stoyanov.

Thailand, Sponsor Thai Premier League, Bangkok Glass – Muangthong United 1:2
Mario Gjurovski played from the start for Muangthong United and provided the assist on the first goal in the 25th minute when he found Teerasil Dangda who then slotted a shot to the back of the net.

Poland, T-Mobile Ekstraklasa, Wisła Kraków – Polonia Warszawa 1:3
Aleksandar Todorovski started for Polonia Warszawa and played until the 56th minute when he had to be substituted due to an injury.  His place was taken by José Isidoro, a Spanish right back who Polonia signed last week.  Isidoro’s arrival could mean less playing time for Todorovski in the future.

Israel, Ligat Winner, Maccabi Haifa – Ironi Kiryat Shmona 1:3
Darko Tasevski got the start for Ironi Kiryat Shmona and played until the 72nd minute when he was substituted by Wiyall Marisat.  Tasevski tied the game at 1:1 in the 53rd minute when the opposing defenders failed to close him down, leaving Darko plenty of space to fire a left footed shot past the opposing keeper from just outside of the area.

Israel, Ligat Winner, Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon – Hapoel Acre 3:1
Hristijan Kirovski played the entire game for Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon and scored the second goal for his team in the 66th minute with a beautiful bicycle kick goal to the upper right corner.

Nikola Gligorov started for Alki and played the opening 45 minutes before he was replaced at the start of the 2nd half by Carlos Ohene.  Alki began the new Cypriot season with a home loss to AEK Larnaca.

Cyprus, Laiki Bank League, Apollon – Ethnikos Achnas 2:0
Bojan Markoski started for Apollon and played the first 45 minutes before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Iván Amaya due to an injury.  Markoski felt some discomfort and was taken off as a precaution.  Meanwhile, goalkeeper Marko Jovanovski did not play for Ethnikos Achnas.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, OFK Beograd – Partizan 1:3
Neither Aleksandar Lazevski nor Stefan Ashkovski were included in the Partizan squad.

Serbia, Jelen SuperLiga, Smederevo – Novi Pazar 0:0
Vlade Lazarevski played all 90 minutes for Smederevo and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw against Novi Pazar.

Nikola Jakimovski got the start for Javor and played until the 71st minute when he made way for Dragan Milovanovic.  Javor suffered its first loss of the early season with the defeat away to Borča.

Dragan Stojkov started for Jagodina in midfield and played untul the 75th minute when he was substituted by Milos Lepovic.

Antonio Stankov began the game on the bench for MVV Maastricht before he came on at the start of the 2nd half replacing defender Nick Kuipers.

Daniel Ivanovski played all 90 minutes for Mjällby who came back from a goal down to score the equalizer in the 54th minute and collect a point.

Armend Alimi started for Örebro and played until the 78th minute when he made way for Valdet Rama.

Slovakia, Corgoň Liga, Košice – Dukla Banská Bystrica 1:0
Darko Tofiloski played from the start for Košice and kept a clean sheet, his fourth such achievement in the first eight rounds of the 2012/13 Slovak season.

Czech Republic, Gambrinus liga, Příbram – Slovácko 0:1
Zoran Danoski played the entire game for Příbram who remained without a win in the opening six rounds of the Czech season as the club has amassed three draws and three losses.

Marjan Altiparmakovski was an unused substitute for Skoda Xanthi.

Goran Dimovski started for Dacia and played until the 80th minute when he was replaced by attacker Nicolae Nemerenco.

Filip Timov played all 90 minutes for Impuls in the road draw against Shirak.

Neither Jasmin Mecinovic nor Simeon Hristov were in the 18 men squad for Egri.

Bojan Gjorgievski started for Skonto and played the opening 45 minutes before he was substituted at the start of the 2nd half by Aleksandrs Fertovs.
