Macedonian internationals performances (16-19.03.2018)

Brace for Mario Gjurovski, goal and assist for Agim Ibraimi, while Mirko Ivanovski, Bojan Gjorgievski, Ivan Trichkovski, Stefan Ashkovski and Adis Jahovic scored one goal each.

Albania, Kategoria Superiore, Lushnja – Teuta 2:3
Teuta won on the road at Lushnja and Bojan Gjorgievski played an important role as he netted the 2:2 equalizer in the 59th minute with a right-footed shot from inside the box. Bojan moved in January to Albania and this was his first goal in the Kategoria Superiore.

Australia, Hyundai A-League, Wellington Phoenix – Newcastle United Jets 0:1
Daniel Georgievski played the entire game at left-back for Newcastle and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Vitez – Sloboda 0:3
Aleksandar Lazevski palyed all minutes at left-back for Sloboda and was part of a defense that kept a clean sheet. Aleks was also booked with a yellow card in the 41stminute.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom Premijer Liga, Radnik – Sarajevo 1:0
Captain Krste Velkoski was fielded at centre-forward by Sarajevo and lasted the whole game on the pitch, while his teammate Marjan Altiparmakovski spent  all minutes on thebench.

Bulgaria, Parva Liga, Cherno More – Lokomotiv Plovdiv 0:1
Vancho Trajanov was once again an unused substitute for Lokomotiv. Vancho recently is without game time, but it’s not unexpected as he will turn 40 the upcoming summer, so he is actually the oldest Macedonian international active in an professionel league.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Istra 1961 – Slaven Belupo 2:1
Mirko Ivanovski and Tome Kitanovski started for Slaven and both played all minutes. In the 23rd minute it was Mirko who opened the score when he converted a penalty. Unfortunately, Istra answered with two goals in the second half and defeated the visitors.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Osijek – Hajduk 3:3
Muzafer Ejupi began on Osijek’s bench and played from the 72nd minute. At that point his team was one goal down, but was able to score an equalizer in the 77th minute.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Dinamo – Rudeš 2:0
Arijan Ademi was Dinamo’s captain and played the whole game in defensive midfield, while Samir Fazli opened on the visitors bench and was introduced in the 78th minute. Eventually, Dinamo won thanks to one goal apiece in each half.

Croatia, Hrvatski Telekom Prva Liga, Rijeka – Cibalia 5:1
Leonard Zhuta played the entire game at left-back for Rijeka as the hosts recorded an easy win against Cibalia. Leo’s teamma te Milan Ristovski, who made the actual Macedonian U21 national team squad, wasn’t called up. It was the same with Armend Dalipi who didn’t make the visitors squad.

Cyprus, Protáthlima Cyta, Omonia – AEK 1:3
Daniel Mojsov played the whole game for the winning side, while Ivan Trichkovski was taken off in the 87th minute. Trichko scored the opening goal of the game and helped his team win and keep the chances for Europa League next season.

Davor Zdravkovski did not make the matchday squad for the home side.

Aleksandar Damchevski played the whole match for the winning side and was shown a yellow card in the final moments of the match.

Czech Republic, HET Liga, Mlada Boleslav – Slovácko 1:1
Veliche Shumulikoski was once again out of the squad with an injury.

England, Championship, Leeds United – Sheffield Wednesday 1:2
Ezgjan Alioski played the whole match for the home side. Reports from England suggest he did not have a bad game, but it was not enough for his club to at least win a point.

Finland, Suomen Cup, Haka – Lahti 3:1
Damjan Shishkovski played 120 minutes for Lahti in the 1/8 final of the Finnish cup but his team was eliminated after conceding 2 goals in extra time.

Greece, Souroti Souper Ligka, Kerkyra – PAS Giannina 1:1
Mite Cikarski was not part of the matchday squad for the visiting side.

Hungary, OTP Bank Liga, Ferencváros – Puskás Akadémia 3:1
Stefan Spirovski was introduced right before the end of the first half-time. His time went on to win the match in the injury time of the second half.

Remzifaik Selmani was not part of the matchday squad for the visiting side.

Kire Ristevski wasn’t included in the matchday squad for the home team.

Boban Nikolov started the game for the hosts and played until the 68th minute

Israel, Ligat Winner, Maccabi Tel-Aviv – Hapoel Haifa 1:2
Risto Mitrevski started for the winning side and picked up a yellow card in the 20th minute for a foul. With the score being 1:1, the visiting coach opted to try to win the game, so Mitrevski was taken off for striker Josip Ivančić in the 79th minute. The winner came deep into the injury time.

Goran Pandev played 67 minutes against his former side Napoli. Luca Rigoni took his place while the score was still goalless. He had one scoring opportunity.

Italy, Serie B, Novara – Palermo 2:2
Ilija Nestorovski played the whole match and got booked in the 73rd minute, while Aleksandar Trajkovski got left on the bench. Palermo lost the three points with an injury time equalizer even though Novara was downed to ten men.

Japan, Meiji Yasuda J1 League, Urawa Red Diamonds – Yokohama F·Marinos 0:1
David Babunski made his first start in the new season. He played until the 77th minute when teenager Kaina Yoshio substituted him. His teammates scored the winning goal four minutes after that change occurred.

Vanche Shikov was unused substitute for Tobol.

Netherlands, Eerste Divisie, Den Bosch – Dordrecht 4:1
Denis Mahmudov and Antonio Stankov played during the whole match for Dordrecht, but couldn’t help the away team to avoid the defeat.

Stefan Ashkovski continued the great form and scored his 1th2 goal this season. Ashkovski entered the match in the 62nd minute and in the 81st minute he scored the winning goal for the visitors from Sittard.

Zeni Husmani and Agim Ibraimi played entire game for Domžale in their impressive home win. Ibraimi provided an assist to Lovro Bizjak for Domžale’s third goal and scored their last goal at 89th minute of the game. Ibraimi was also shown a yellow card at 34th minute of the game.
