Goran Pandev played the entire game for Inter and played pretty well in the 1st half by showing nice dribbling skills and linking up well with his teammates but that was all forgotten as he missed two huge chances in the 2nd half and was criticized heavily by the Inter fans and media. In the 63rd minute, Maicon found Giampaolo Pazzini in the box who then made a nice pass to the charging Pandev who was all alone with the keeper but his shot was saved by the Brescia keeper. The second big miss by Pandev came in the 80th minute when Samuel Eto’o found Pandev who was again all alone with the opposing keeper but he was indecisive and then his shot with his weaker right foot hit the face of the Brescia keeper and he squandered another good opportunity. Brescia equalized in the 84th minute after an error by Inter defender Iván Córdoba and even had a chance to win the game in the 89th minute when they were awarded a penalty but Inter keeper Júlio César saved the penalty and both teams had to settle for a point.

Nikolce Noveski played the entire game for Mainz who suffered a tough loss as Bayer Leverkusen scored the only goal of the game in the 82nd minute as a result of a mental mistake by Mainz defender Bo Svensson. The Mainz keeper passed the ball to Svensson who didn’t realize that Bayer Leverkusen player Renato Augusto was behind him and then Augusto took the ball away from Svensson before he unleashed a powerful right footed shot that went past the Mainz keeper.
Germany, 1. Bundesliga, Schalke 04 – Eintracht Frankfurt 2:1
Aleksandar Vasoski was an unused substitute for Eintracht Frankfurt while his teammate Oka Nikolov remains out with an injury. Eintracht was finally able to score a goal even though they suffered another loss as they hadn’t scored a goal in their previous eight league games. Their last goal prior to this game was on 18 December 2010 in a 1:0 win against Borussia Dortmund.

Goran Popov played the entire game for Dynamo Kyiv who continued their good form with another win but it wasn’t all good news as star striker Artem Milevskiy sustained what appeared to be a serious arm injury in the 43rd minute and had to be substituted.
Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Karpaty Lviv – Shakhtar Donetsk 1:0
Martin Bogatinov played from the start for Karpaty Lviv and kept a clean sheet against Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk who recently eliminated Roma from the Champions League. Bogatinov showed great reflexes in the 27th minute when he made a great diving save following a header from close range by Luiz Adriano and then Bogatinov made another good save in the 53rd minute saving a shot from Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Ukraine, Premyer-Liha, Metalurh Donetsk – Sevastopol 1:0
Mario Gjurovski was an unused substitute for Metalurh Donetsk while Besart Ibraimi started for Sevastopol and played until the 59th minute when he was replaced by Andriy Shevchuk.
Russia, Premyer-Liga, CSKA Moskva – Amkar 2:0
Stevica Ristic played all 90 minutes for Amkar who started the new Russian Premier League season with a loss away to CSKA Moskva. Ristic and his team could not create much in this game as CSKA Moskva dominated the game and had numerous chances but were only able to score two goals.

Boban Grncarov played the entire game for APOEL while his teammate Ivan Trickovski returned from his injury by starting on the bench before he entered the game in the 67th minute replacing Constantinos Charalambides. Grncarov had a chance in the 18th minute but his header from close range following a high cross by Gustavo Manduca went over the goal. As for Trickovski, his best chance came in the 78th minute when Brazilian Ailton Almeida had his shot blocked and the ball reached Trickovski on the rebound but his shot was saved by the opposing keeper.

Edin Nuredinoski played from the start for Ethnikos Achnas and conceded one goal directly from a free kick in the 38th minute, Vance Sikov did not play because of a yellow cards suspension, Stojan Ignjatov started and played until the 70th minute when he was replaced by Ivan Petrović, while Filip Ivanovski was an unused substitute. For Enosis Neon Paralimni, Petar Milosevski did not play as Georgi Petkov started in goal, Bojan Markoski started at CB and played the entire game, while Zoran Baldovaliev also got the start and played until the 73rd minute when he was replaced by Dieter van Tornhout. Baldovaliev had the first chance of the game in the 3rd minute but his shot went just wide of the goal. Enosis equalized in the 38th minute when Brazilian Alex Da Silva scored directly from a free kick before Ethnikos Achnas scored the game winning goal in the 90th minute when they converted a penalty.

Alimi then forced the keeper to make a nice save in the 54th minute but Šibenik otherwise dominated the game and picked up a convincing victory. After the game, Istra 1961 fans were livid with the effort of the players and demanded to talk to the manager and players to give them a lecture. For Šibenik, Daniel Georgievski remains out with an injury.
