Macedonian international performances (12-15.04.2019)

Ivan Trichkovski, Ilija Nestorovski, Elif Elmas, Arijan Ademi and Nikola Jakimovski scored one goal each with Elif’s being in the big Turkish derby against Galatasaray, while Aleksandar Isaevski and Stefan Ristovski assisted.

Bulgaria, Parva Liga, Slavia – Dunav Ruse 3:5
In a match that involved three Macedonian players and eight goals, Aleksandar Isaevski‘s Dunav Ruse came out as winner against Darko Tasevski and Stefan Ashkovski‘s Slavia. Isaevski played the full game as left back and also made a contribution to the victory as he assisted one of the goals to give Dunav Ruse a 2:4 lead. For the hosts, Tasevski also played the entire match, while Ashkovski entered the game in the 57th minute.

Darko Glishikj started the game at Septemvri’s bench and entered the field in the 62nd minute. The 1:0 score was already set by the time Glishikj entered the game, and the goal was scored by a former PMFL player Suad Sahiti.

Muzafer Ejupi started the match on Osijek’s bench and entered the game in the 62nd minute to play the remaining half hour. The 2 goals were already set by the time Ejupi entered the pitch and the score remained unchanged.

Milan Ristovski watched from the bench as his Rijeka demolished Inter with 7:0. His teammate Darko Velkovski was once again sidelined due to an injury.

Ivan Trichkovski scored yet another goal for AEK to become the best scorer of all times for his club. His teammate Daniel Mojsov was not in the squad this round, while Davor Zdravkovski played the first 56 minutes for the hosts.

Ezgjan Alioski played yet another full game for Leeds United as left back in their victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

Finland, Veikkausliiga, KPV – RoPS 0:1
Filip Ivanovski made his debut for his new club KPV, as he was given the last 10 minutes of the match. He only had a short time to score past the opposing keeper Damjan Shishkovski who played the whole match for the winning team.

Nikola Jakimovski played the whole match for the hosts and scored the only goal for his side. Davor Taleski was not included in the matchday squad.

Boban Nikolov‘s team was better than Kire Ristevski‘s in another Macedonian matchup in Hungary. Nikolov played the final 10 minutes of the game, while Ristevski played the whole match for his side.

Risto Mitrevski played the whole match for the hosts and was shown a yellow card.

Italy, Serie A, Sampdoria – Genoa 2:0
Goran Pandev played the whole match for his team, but they were defeated in the Derby della Lanterna. Goran twice tried to win a penalty, but on both occasion it was so obvious that he is acting that the referee didn’t even need to use VAR. In the 60th minute, after his second attempt, he gesticulated towards the referee and was awarded a yellow card and since it’s his fifth this season he will have to serve a suspension next round.

Very important win for Palermo over their promotion rivals. Aleksandar Trajkovski remained on the bench while Ilija Nestorovski played 79 minutes and scored the first goal of the game three minutes before the break.

Denis Mahmudov remained on the bench for the visiting side.

Antonio Stankov played the whole match for the hosts. They had a 1:0 lead throughout whole match but conceded a goal in the dying moments.

Portugal, Liga NOS, Aves – Sporting 1:3
Stefan Ristovski assisted to Fernandes with a great cross in the 84th minute for setting the final score and a victory for Sporting away to Aves, despite playing with 10 men after having their goalkeeper sent off early in the match.

Filip Gligorov played the whole match for Dunărea, but wasn’t able to help his team avoid the defeat.

Mite Cikarski played the full 90 minutes for Gaz Metan Medias and celebrated a win away to Voluntari.

Due to injury Nikola Gjorgjev wasn’t part of Grasshoppers squad at this game.

Leonard Zhuta played whole match for Konyaspor while his teammate Adis Jahovic played until 64th minute when Malian international Mustapha Yatabaré replaced him.
