The defending champions Shkendija recorded an impressive 4:1 road victory in Kratovo against Sileks, Napredok barely defeated 11 Oktomvri 1:0 despite playing with 10 men for over 40 minutes, Ohrid held the leaders Metalurg to a goalless draw, while Renova also played a goalless draw in Tetovo against Horizont Turnovo.
Napredok managed to grab their second consecutive victory after beating Horizont Turnovo in the last round. 11 Oktomvri was the victim today at the city stadium of Kicevo. Kire Stepanovski’s lone goal in the 20th minute brought Napredok three valuable points. The visitors from Prilep failed to score a goal despite playing with an extra player for 40 minutes after Napredok’s Riste Markoski received a red card in the 50th minute. 11 Oktomvri remains in last place on the table.
Shkendija grabbed a convincing road victory against Sileks in Kratovo. Sileks proved to be no match for the defending champions as the Tetovo based club won 1:4 thanks to two goals by Ferhan Hasani and one goal apiece for Mensur Kurtisi and Izair Emini. Angel Nacev only managed to score a consolation goal for the hosts in the 75th minute.
Renova continued their disappointing season, this time failing to score against Horizont Turnovo. On the bright side, they did not concede a goal so each club will settle for a point. Renova recently appointed a new manager in Vlatko Kostov but that has not led to better results.
The same result occurred in Ohrid where Metalurg was not able to break down Ohrid’s defense and the points were shared in a scoreless draw. Ohrid does play much better at home and they showed that today against the leaders on the table. Metalurg was without injured captain Mile Krstev and his absence did seem to effect the Skopje based club.
