A beautiful Sunday afternoon brought many surprising results in the 27th round of the first league. Vardar defeated Rabotnicki, Pelister stole a point from Makedonija, Metalurg defeated Napredok, while Pobeda and Turnovo returned with full spoils from their trips to Kratovo and Kumanovo, respectively.
Vardar Skopje – Rabotnicki Skopje 2:0 (1:0)
11' Emurlahu, 90' Ejupi
The city derby was played under beautiful weather conditions and around 2000 fans on the stadium. Vardar's fans had the reason to celebrate after the match as their players noted a 2-0 win over neighbors Rabotnicki. In the 11th minute Bojović made a big mistake in the defence and Emurlahu used the opportunity and turned the chance into a goal with a shot from inside the box. Rabotnicki tried to equalize and had several attacks in the first half, but Vardar's players succesfully defended. 1-0 was the scoreline on the half-time. The second half continued with a similar performance by both teams, while Rabotnicki's players were attempting long-shots. Such one was Bozinovski's in the 72nd minute but Pacovski blocked the shot into cornern. In the 84th minute Ejupi had a chance but this time Georgievski blocked for a corner, while a minute after that Rabotnicki missed another opportunity in front of Vardar's goal. In the injury time, Emurlahu sent a ball to Ejupi, Rabotnicki defence stopped expecting an offside, but the referee didn't whistled one and it wasn't hard for Ejupi to score in a one-on-one situation with Georgievski. That set the final score and a big victory for Vardar.
Makedonija GjP Skopje – Pelister Bitola 0:0
A boring football and a totally deserved scoreline is a one sentence describer for this match. It is, of course, a big point for the visitors while Makedonija increased the lead on the table even further. The first half was not very interesting to watch and there weren't many chances. Delovski and Petkovski in the fourth minute started a counter-attack for Pelister but failed to threaten on Pavlović's goal. In the 24th minute Micevski had a go, but Pavlović was on the right place. Brnjarcevski had a chance for the hosts in the 29th minute when sent a shot from the left side but he didn't hit the target. Veljanovski could have scored in the 32nd minute but he hit the post from an offside position. In the second half the hosts had the iniciative but didnot create a serious chance. Mitrev's shot ended past the post in the 47th minute after Pelister's defence cleared one ball sent by Kiende Popol and that was pretty much everything we saw in the second half. The visitors are more then satisfied with a point while the hosts are one step closer to winning the first title in the club history.
Metalurg Skopje – Napredok Kicevo 1:0 (1:0) (report)
26' Dimov (own goal)
Though with 6 standard players out of the squad the hosts celebrated a very important victory in the relegation battle over direct rivals Napredok. The iniciative of the hosts was crowned with a goal in the 25th minute which turned out to be the winning one. Stefanović crossed the ball from the left side, Dimov tried to clear but sent the ball into his net and Karamacoski, Napredok's goalkeeper couldn't saved that ball. But, if he failed to save that one, he saved many others. Mainly thanks to him Metalurg stayed on one on the scoreline. In the second half both teams opened and had chances, played attractive football, but the chances by Ilievski, Spasojević, Sabani on one side and Cvetanovski on the other didn't produce a goal and the final score is 1-0.
