Macedonian First League – Round 14

Unsatisfied because of the yesterday’s reelection of the president of the Football Federation of Macedonia, some of the teams decided to boycott the Macedonian First league matches today. Only two matches were played in which Renova defeated Rabotnicki with 2:0 and with the same result Pobeda won against Teteks.

As support of the presidential candidate Blagoja Nikolovski, Makedonija GjP, Horizont Turnovo, Sloga Jugomagnat and Pelister decided to boycott their matches today. Vardar expected Makedonija, same as Metalurg and Milano who were waiting for Horizont Turnovo and Pelister on their stadiums, while Sileks were not allowed to enter on the stadium in Cair because the Sloga were not there and the doors were locked.

The boycotting clubs probably expected bigger support, so later Pelister changed their decision and traveled to Kumanovo, but they arrived late and this match was also not played.
