Drita, Metalurg, Renova, Shkendija, Sileks, Teteks and Vardar are the seven teams that qualified for the 1/4 finals from today’s games.
Metalurg managed to celebrate a minimal 1:0 win away in Turnovo and came back after the 3:3 draw at home in the first leg. Shkendija also won with the same result away in Shtip against Bregalnica and advanced into the quarter-finals with a 2:0 on aggregate.
Teteks and Renova had no problems with Lokomotiva and 11 Oktomvri and recorded high victories. After the 2:0 away win, this time Teteks scored seven goals against Lokomotiva, while Cup holders Renova repeated the same 5:0 result trashing the visitors from Prilep.
After the goalless draw in Prilep, Drita this time celebrated a 2:0 win over Pobeda Junior and eliminated the Second League side that in the previous round eliminated last year’s Cup finalist, Rabotnichki. Vardar recorded another with against Gorno Lisiche, but this time the with 2:1, while Sileks recorded a comfortable win over the only Third League participant, Bashkimi.
So far Drita, Metalurg, Renova, Shkendija, Sileks, Teteks and Vardar have qualified for the quarter-finals, whilke the last team will be known tomorrow as Babi hosts Pelister in Shtip. Only First League club have advanced and knowing that Pelister has a 5:0 lead from the first leg, it is hard to believe that the last Second League side can make a surprise.
