Macedonian Cup 1/4 final second leg

Macedonian CupShkendija, Sileks, Teteks and Vardar are the four teams who will compete in the semi final of the Macedonian Cup.

Shkendija demolished Metalurg away from home 1:5 and found the best way to repay their dissatisfied fans after the home defeat to Bregalnica in last round. Although Metalurg took the lead first in the first half, Shkendija stepped up in the second half and through Ejupi’s poker goals and one more added by Neziri, Shkendija got to the semi final.

Sileks confirmed the win over Drita from the first leg in Bogovinje with another win in Kratovo, this time far more convincing. With the hat-trick by Stojan Velinov, Sileks defeated Drita 3:0 and with aggregate score of 5:1 also got to the semi-final.

Teteks managed to defeat Renova with the lone goal scored by Bobi Bozhinovski in 25th minute, thus managing to get to the semi final after the first leg scoreless draw. At the moment, both teams who are threatened by relegation, Teteks and Sileks, managed to advance to the semi final of the Macedonian Cup and get the option for obtaining a spot in UEFA Europa League.

In the derby of Macedonia, Vardar once again defeated Pelister and got the fourth place for the semi final. After the 0:1 win in Bitola, this time Vardar won 2:0 with goals scored by Petrov and Gimenez.
