Macedonian 1st League – Round 3

Vardar-PelisterRound 3 from the Macedonian First League is completed. The attention this round was on the biggest Macedonian derby between Vardar and Pelister in which the hosts easier then expected defeated the team from Bitola with 3:0.

Vardar Skopje – Pelister Bitola 3:0 (0:0)

The biggest Macedonian derby between the old rivals Vardar and Pelister was played today on Gradski in Skopje and after the complete domination, the hosts defeated Pelister with the hat-trick scored by Boban Jancevski. In the first half Vardar made pressure on Pelister's goal but no serious chance was created and Pelister's defence was always in front of Vardar's strikers. Towards the end of the first half Jancevski had the most serious oportunity and after a cross from the left side he volleyed just over the goal. In the last minute, Musa Ali scored a goal but it was dissalowed because of an offside.
Finally in the 2nd half Vardar's efforts ended with success. Boban Jancevski was the hero of the match by destroying Pelister's defence and scoring the hat-trick with the goals in the 55th, 59th and 66th minute. The tempo of the match went down after Vardar's goals and Pelister unsuccessfully tried to lower the defeat. They failed to create any serious chance on Pacovski's goal and Vardar completely deserved the big 3:0 win over one of their biggest rivals.

Milano Kumanovo – Pobeda Prilep 5:2 (4:0)

Macedonian vice-shampions Milano managed to get easy three points against Pobeda from Prilep in an interesting match with seven points. Borce Manevski scored the first goal right on the start of the match, after which Pobeda conceded three more goals in the first half when Ristov, Gligorovski and Gashi scored for Milano. In the second half Milano didn't try much again on Pobeda's goal, after which the guests tried to lower the defeat with the goals by Nacev and Damevski towards the end of the match. But Brando in the final minutes confirmed the big victory for the hosts and the final result was 5:2

Makedonija Gjorce Petrov – Metalurg Skopje 2:0 (1:0)
42' Lena, 47' Washington
Makedonija kept the leading position after the first three rounds with the easy win against newly promoted Metalurg. The hosts didn't gave big efforts on this match, but it was enough for taking the points from this match. Nijazi Lena scored the opening goal in the last minutes from the first half and the Brazilian player Washington scored in the first attack from the second half, which was enough for securing the win.

Napredok Kicevo – Sileks Kratovo 1:1 (1:0)
14' Lena – 70' Stupic
Napredok and Sileks shared the points in Kicevo. Both teams had their chances on this match and the draw was the most realistic outcome. Levkov scored for the hosts in the 14th minute and Serbian striker Bosko Stupic equalized in the second half and set the final score.

Horizont Turnovo – Rabotnicki Skopje 0:0
For the first time in the history of the club, Turnovo hosted a first league match on their stadium "Kukush" and it was the current champion Rabotnicki who had that honor. Unfortenately for the fans, no goals were scored and both teams shared the points with the most unpopular result 0:0.
