On 26th of May, in Reutlingen, Germany, Macedonian national team will meet Polish national team in a friendly match that will serve as a test for both managers. Macedonian national team has chosen Germany as a training camp because of the bigger possibility to find an opponent for friendly match, as several EURO 2008 contestants have chosen Germany for final preparations before the great tournament. After the initial problems, such as the plane-problems with Mojsov, Tofiloski, Sedloski and Naumoski, than Milosevski’s personal problems, the Macedonian squad is finally up-and-running and besides Sedloski’s minor injury everything else seems in good order. Even our captain will probably be fully-fit and strengthen our defence. Today, they will have a training in Stuttgart before tommorow’s match. Besides, the good chance to play against a EURO 2008 contestant (Poland is in Group B together with Croatia, Austria and Germany), this will be a good chance for our players to get spotted by managers and scouts from bigger European clubs as a lot are expected on the stadium.
The match will be played on SSV 05’s stadium in Reutlingen, tomorrow in 20.30 CET. The tickets will move from 14 to 27 Euros. For those of You out there that are keen on betting, it will be good to think twice before placing Your money on Poland, for example. European online bookies are paying around 1.40 if Poland celebrates after the match. The draw or Macedonia’s win can get You back 2.85 times the money You’ve placed. Just after the match with Macedonia, Poland will play a friendly match with Albania the next day and then another friendly with Denmark on June 1st. Macedonia has a match in recent memory that was played in Germany. It was the one against Turkey played in Krefeld two years ago where with the goal scored by Maznov, Macedonia has won with 1:0.
