The Macedonian Unde 21 squad has lost in the first match in Yemeni Unification Cup.
Macedonia’s U21 team suffered a defeat in the opening match in Yemeni Unification Cup. Burkina Faso showed as better opponent and managed to celebrate a 2:0 win today. Despite Macedonia had couple of 100% serious chances and a missed opportunity from the goal line, failed to score at least one goal. But, Macedonia played with 10 men since Stefan Ristovski got a direct red card in the 21st minute, one minute after Burkina Faso took the lead with Koh Traoré’s goal. Salouma Ahmed was also redcarded in the 70th minute so Les Etalons were also downed to 10 men. In the 85th minute Paul Dagbei scored for 2:0 and for minutes later Burkina Faso had another player sent off, Lionel Kabore.
Next Macedonia’s fixture is against Oman on Thursday at 14.45 CET.
