Macedonian women U19 national team suffered an unlucky 2-3 defeat to Switzerland U19 women.

Macedonia took the lead with Andonova’s goal in the 7th minute. Canetta equalized in the 31st and put Switzerland into lead in 52nd with her second goal. It is good to know other player aside of Andonova has scored a goal, when Mladena Petrova equalized in the 59th. Unlucky for Macedonian girls, Jörg gave Switzerland the winning goal in the dying minutes.

This match has been played as part of the first qualifying round for European Women’s under 19 championship 2011. Besides Macedonia and Switzerland, Poland and Kazakhstan are the other 2 teams in the group which matches are played in Strumica and Turnovo. Macedonia plays against Poland on 13th and against Kazakhstan on 16th.
