The Macedonian national team has been drawn in Group 4 of the C segment with Bulgaria, Georgia and Gibraltar in the new edition of the UEFA Nations League.

Georgia and Gibraltar are already familiar teams with whom Macedonia played in the previous editions of the UEFA Nations League and after many friendly matches, it will be the first time in the history for Macedonia to meet neighboring Bulgaria in an official competition.

The competition will begin in June and Macedonia will start and finish with Bulgaria.

UEFA is yet to reveal how the new season of the Nations League will be connected to the 2024 EURO as the format of the qualifiers is still not determined. Maybe it will be like in the 2018/19 edition when the group winners of each league entered a play-of and gave four participants, one of them Macedonia.
