According to the new FIFA ranking list, Macedonia moved for 3 positions up and is now on the 56th spot. Argentina is on the leading position, followed by Brazil, Italy, Spain and Germany.
Compared with last month's ranking, Macedonia lost 9 points but because of the bad results on the national teams ranked above Macedonia, the Macedonian national team moved up for 3 positions and with 546 points shares the 56th position with Hungary.
From the 9th qualification group for the World Cup 2010, Netherlands is on the 10h position, Scotland 15th, Norway 28th and Iceland is ranked 86th on the FIFA ranking list.
