Macedonia dropped three positions and is now ranked on the 49th position on the latest FIFA World rankings after the last month’s defeat away to Iceland.
After the record placement on the 46th position, this month Macedonia dropped on the 49th position on the FIFA ranking list. With the defeat by Iceland, Macedonia lost 34 points and now has 603 points, same as Mali.
From our 9th qualification group for the World Cup 2010, Holland is the highest placed team on the 4th position, Scotland 33rd, Norway surprisingly dropped 15 positions and is now placed 54th and Iceland moved up to the 82nd position with the win over Macedonia which brought them improvement of 21 positions.
Spain holds the lead on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World ranking list, folowed by Germany and italy.
