The Macedonian women’s national team Macedonia won the preliminary round Group 1 with a 1:0 defeat of Latvia and qualified for the main round.
After the 1:1 draw with Lithuania and 5:1 win over Luxembourg, Macedonia defeated Latvia today in Turnovo and won the preliminary round Group 1 with seven points.
The only goal on the match was scored by Gentjana Rochi after a corner kick taken by Natasa Andonova in the 31st minute.
The main qualifying round draw will take place on Monday, 14.03.2011 and Macedonia will get the opponents against who they will play matches on home and away basis from September.
