Spanish media reports there's possibility the Macedonian national team will play a friendly match on 27th of December against Extremadura, a Spanish autonomous community.
Extremadura's team should have played a friendly match against China on 27th of December this year, but apparently the Chinese national team has denied the invitation and with the help of the Spanish football federation, Extremadura is trying to invite the Macedonian national team for a friendly match, reports 'EXTREMADURA AL DIA'.
Of course, this kind of match would not be into the FIFA's official terms for matches, so many teams will probably not allow the Macedonian players to play and this might turn out to be a chance for Srečko Katanec to test new players from the Macedonian championship.
If this match really will take place, then it will not be Macedonia's first match against Spanish provinces, as the national team has already played unofficial matches against Basque and Asturias.
