Today in Brussels took place the draw for the league phase of the fifth season of the UEFA Nations League in wuich Macedonia debuts in League B.

League B consists of four groups of four teams. Each team plays six matches in their group, one home and one away against the other three nations in the group. our league was drawn third, as the draw started from the lowest legfaue, the D.

Macedonia, as promoted from League C, was put in Pot 4 along with Sweden, Northern Ireland and Kosovo. Teams from same pot could be drawn in the same groups.

Lerague B potential opponents:

Pot 1: Scotland, Hungary, Poland, Israel
Pot 2: Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Ukraine
Pot 3: Slovenia, Georgia, Ireland, Romania

Patrick Vieira was making the draw for League B and he put Macedonia in the Group 1 together with Scotland, Switzerland and Slovenia. It is interesting that we have naver ever played against Switzerland, so eventually we will match this Alpine team.
