Blagoja Ljamchevski and Ostoja Stjepanovikj have been summoned to the national team for the friendly against Norway.
New changes by national team coach Chedomir Janevski. After he was forced to make changes yesterday, today Janevski announced a few more shakeups. He added two players, both from the domestic league in Metalurg’s right back Blagoja Ljamchevski and Vardar’s captain and midfielder Ostoja Stjepanovikj. For the 26-year-old Ljamchevski the game in Norway could be his debut in the national team, while Stjepanovikj has already played in 3 games for Macedonia.
Meanwhile, Aleksandar Lazevski and Agim ibraimi have been withdrawn since both are well known to the coach and had a hard season with their clubs.
“Ljamchevski will take Lazevski’s place for Oslo, I think he can be up to the challenge. Lazevski’s qualities are well known, he played 80 minutes against Sweden, so this is a chance for us to see the potential of other players who are close to the squad. Ljamchevski was planned to play in the friendly against Poland last December, but due to an injury he had to miss the game. He played great in the second half of the season for Metalurg and deserved the call. Together with Stjepanovikj I think they can help us against the Norwegians. Also, Agim Ibraimi has been withdrawn, he played 3 games in less than two weeks, he played the entire game against Sweden so simply he deserves a break.” Janevski said on FFM’s web page.
