Russian club Krasnodar is showing interest in Darko Tasevski as they look to strengthen the midfield position.
Darko Tasevski is heavily being linked today in Russian and Bulgarian newspapers with a move to Russian top division club FK Krasnodar. After the reported interest, Russian newspaper Sport Express conducted an interview with Krasnodar manager Slavoljub Muslin and he did confirm that his club is considering Tasevski as a way to strengthen their midfield play. Muslin went on to add that his club will definitely sign a midfielder this summer and Tasevski is one of the candidates being considered for that position.
Tasevski seems set to leave Levski this summer after joining the club in 2007. He has one year left on his contract but Levski is ready to cash in on Tasevski this summer as both sides have agreed that a change of scenery might be best for both parties. Tasevski had a fairly successful career with Levski as he played the playmaker role effectively and did well this year as Tasevski and star striker Garra Dembélé combined for many goals throughout the season. Tasevski is known for his skill and good vision but he is pretty inconsistent and his stamina is also a concern as he rarely plays 90 minutes for either his club or country. Tasevski has over 30 caps for the Macedonian national team but he is still looking for his first goal.
