Vlatko Kostov is once again manager of Renova, after Sokoli left the team several weeks earlier.
Vlatko Kostov will become the manager of Renova once again, Makedonski Sport reported today. Renova had the best success with Kostov in 2010 when he led the club to their first title in the Macedonian championship. Now, he is back in the club after Sokoli left the team and assistant manager Islami led Renova for a couple of weeks. Kostov last managed Rabotnicki but resigned after only several months with the club while he was also the top assistant under former Macedonian national team manager Mirsad Jonuz. However, he was not included in the coaching staff under John Toshack so he decided to accept the manager role with Renova.
Kostov’s first match as manager of Renova will be the derby against Shkendija on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the newspaper also reported that Gordan Zdravkov will be the new manager of Horizont Turnovo, while Dragan Hristovski moves to assistant because he does not have a UEFA Pro License.
