Kirovski agreed with Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon

Hristijan Kirovski, suiting up for Apollon in this photo, has transferred to Israel Striker Hristijan Kirovski will continue his career in Israel after he agreed to terms with top division side Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon.

The length of the contract is for one year which also features an option for an additional season.  Kirovski was a free agent after he parted ways with Cypriot club Apollon last month.  Hristijan started negotiating a contract with Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon several days ago, and the terms were finally agreed upon between both sides to make the Kirovski transfer official.  Israeli newspapers reported that Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon viewed Kirovski as a good replacement for Ognjen Damjanovic who disappointed the club with his performance last year.

Kirovski is a classic in the box striker who possesses good size.  Despite being only 26 years old, Hristijan has played for numerous clubs in various countries throughout his career.  This will, however, be his first time of playing in the Israeli league.  Kirovski becomes the second Macedonian to move to Israel this year after Darko Tasevski who signed with the league champions Ironi Kiryat Shmona.

Hristijan’s new club finished in 10th place out of 16 teams in the regular season last season.  By not finishing in the top 8, the club then partook in the relegation group play-off with the teams placed from 9th to 16th on the standings.  However, Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon avoided the drop by not finishing in the bottom three places which led to direct relegation to the Israeli second division.
