Macedonian manager Dragi Kanatlarovski resigned from Lokomotiv Plovdiv today after a string of poor results.
Manager Dragi Kanatlarovski and his top two assistant coaches at Lokomotiv Plovdiv have all resigned after a meeting with the club’s owner Konstantin Dinev. Their contracts were mutually terminated after they agreed to leave the club following a string of bad results, with the latest game resulting in a 3:2 loss against Levski on Sunday.
The sports director also resigned as the only coach that will remain with the team in the goalkeeping coach. In the meantime, Lokomotiv Plovdiv captain Zdravko Lazarov will lead the trainings while the club begins the search for a new manager. The international break is coming so the management of the club will have some extra time to find the right manager. Keep in mind that Lokomotiv Plovdiv also features a Macedonian player in Dragi Kocev but he was seldomly used under Kanatlarovski as most of his appearances were as a second half substitute.
