Filip Ivanovski’s Polonia Warszawa won in the first round of UEFA Europa league away to Budućnost Podgorica with 0-2. Filip is the only Macedonian international player that played a match in the first round of Europa League.
Ivanovski played from the beginning of this match. He had one attempt on goal, but unsuccessful. The goals were scored by Kozioł in the 54th minute and Jodłowiec in the 65th minute. Polonia even hit the post in the dying minuted. Ivanovski played up to 70th minute when he was replaced by Chałbiński. Vlade Lazarevski did not travel to Montenegro. The return leg is scheduled for a week from today and if Polonia advances through the next round they will play against AC Juvenes-Dogana from San Marino.
