Two years ago, on 24 January 2016 during a friendly match played on the banks of the Lake Dojran between Bregalnica and his team Horizont Turnovo, Stoilkov received a blow to the head in a duel with an opponent. He was rushed to hospital, but the injury was so serious that he stayed there for quite a while and the whole country rose to gather funds to help him recover.

Today Kiko is getting back his normal life, but he is done with the gloves. Since being a footballer was his dream and he invested years in becoming one, he had to continue with something connected with this beautiful game.  Few months ago he started learning to be an agent and eventually he came one. Thanks to the fact that he played in Slovenia before coming to Turnovo, he knows people there who were happy to land a hand, like former Slovenian star players Zlatko Zahovič and Mladen Rudonja.

Stoilkov started his career with Malesh from his native town of Berovo. At the age of 16 he moved to Slovenian team Dekani where he stayed for 4 years before joining Hoziront in 2015. He was the first choice keeper for the Turnovians until his injury.
