After his transfer to Voluntari fell through, Bazhe Ilijoski decided to sign a new contract with Rabotnichki and continue playing with the club.
Everything was agreed for Bazhe Ilijoski to join Romanian side Voluntari, he even said farewell to his teammates, but at the end the transfer fell through. After playing for Brașov and Rapid București, Bazhe was hoping for a come back in Romania, but that won’t be happening now.
The current top goalscorer in the Macedonian top flight with 13 goals (actually shares the top with Besart Ibraimi), returned to Rabotnichki and after several long negotiations eventually came to an agreement with the club board over the new contract. He was a free agent as his contract had expired in December and could have gone anywhere without problems. Instead, Ilijoski signed a new 2-year-long contract making him the biggest winter signing for the “Club Hero”.
“To a mutual satisfaction we managed to agree our terms with the board and agreed to a new deal. I will be staying in Rabotnichki and I will give my best in order for the club to book a place in the Europa League qualifications in the second half of the season.” – Ilijoski told the club’s official web page.
Rabotnichki so far brought CM Bojan Najdenov (Turnovo), ST Marko Puškarić and winger Ivan Galić (both Lučko, Croatia). The players that so far left are key midfielder Stephan Vujčić (Shkendija) and winger Ivan Mitrov (Bregalnica).
