Macedonian attacker Ilija Nestorovski has been loaned by Slovácko to fellow Czech club Viktoria Žižkov until 30 June 2012.
It is now official, Nestorovski will be loaned to newly promoted top division Czech side Viktoria Žižkov until 30 June 2012 from Slovácko. Nestorovski was being tested by Viktoria Žižkov for the past couple of weeks and he showed enough that the team has decided to take him on loan for the upcoming season. He joins his new club from Slovácko where he was not getting consistent playing time so it was probably best for both sides that this loan got done between the two teams. Slovácko signed several veteran strikers this summer and Nestorovski was facing another season of getting little playing time so this loan to Viktoria Žižkov will hopefully allow him to receive regular playing time and he can continue to develop as a player.
Nestorovski is now 21 years old and began his career with hometown club Podeda before he joined Slovácko during the 2010 winter transfer window. Up to this point, Nestorovski has scored two league goals in 28 appearances for Slovácko. The coach that brought him to the Czech Republic was Josef Mazura but he was then fired as Slovácko managed during the summer of 2010. Miroslav Soukop took over as manager but Nestorovski was not receiving much playing time. A couple of weeks ago, Soukop said he still believes in the talent of Nestorovski but he has not done enough to warrant becoming a starter for his team. Nestorovski is also a regular member of the Macedonian U21 national team and is considered one of the better players on the team.
