Citing the need for regular playing time, Heerenveen is looking to send Samir Fazli on loan.
Dutch club Heerenveen still believes in the potential of the 20 year old Samir Fazli but the club can not guarantee him playing time for the upcoming season so they feel it is best that Fazli goes on loan to another team to gain more experience. Fazli has a contract with Heerenveen until the summer of 2014 and the team would prefer to send Fazli on loan for a full year but is not ruling out a six month loan if they can’t find a one year loan agreement with another club.
Heeenveen signed veteran striker Gerald Sibon today so that led to the team actively looking for a club to send Fazli on loan in order for him to get regular playing time. Samir joined Heerenveen in 2009 from Makedonija Gjorce Petrov for 200,000 euros. He was viewed as a big talent but has not developed the way Heerenveen expected up to this point as he has only one goal in 15 league appearances for the Dutch club. Fazli is a regular member of the Macedonian U21 national team and is considered one of the better players on the team.
