The standard midfielder of English club Ipswich Town and regular member of the Macedonian national team, 26-year-old Velice Sumulikoski, suffered injury on the right leg that will take out of the pitches for at least 3 months.
The Macedonian international has suffered a partially torn artery in his shin and is likely to have surgery next week. English doctors have announced that because of the seriousness of the injury and the operation, Velice Sumulikoski will be out of the football pitches in the next 3 or 4 months. This means that he will be ready for the next season in England, but the current situation will cause big problems to Macedonian coach Srecko Katanec for the upcoming friendly matches and the WC 2010 qualification matches against Scotland and Holland in September.
