Half-season concluded in 3.MFL Southeast

With the two postponed matches played this weekend eventually ended the half-season in the third league Southeast.

All other five third league groups had already ended the first half-season leaving the Southeast still opened due to two postponed matches.

On Saturday took place the promotion derby between leaders Dojransko Ezero and runners-up Tiverija who actually played just the previous weekend in a Round 10 match. That match played in Strumica ended in a draw, but now in Nov Dojran was played the Round 5 postponed game. Dojransko Ezero edged its rivals with a lone goal scored five minute before the break by former national team striker Goran Maznov. Despite his age of 37 he is still active and scored his second goal this season.

With this win the leaders made a big advantage of seven points and are about to get back in the second league for the first time since the 1999/2000 season when they were relegated from the 2.MFL East.

The other match took place today in Turnovo where the former first league participant smashed the dead-last team of Smartmani. The visitors from the village of Gradsko Baldovci were no match for Horizont conceding six times and scoring only  a consolation goal.
