Boban Grncharov was fined by the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) for showing the middle finger to the crowd during a game earlier in the week.
The game in question in which Boban Grncharov flashed the middle finger occurred this past Wednesday, 30 October, in the Pirin vs. Botev Plovdiv league game. After Botev could only muster a draw in a disappointing 1:1 draw, Grncharov showed the middle finger to the crowd, leading the Bulgarian disciplinary committee to issue him a fine.
The 31-year-old Grncharov was fined 3,000 Bulgarian Leva for the obscene gesture which translates to about 1,534 Euros or 2,070 US Dollars.
