FFM had no mercy towards Gostivar and severely punished the club for leaving the pitch in the 85th minute of the Round 29 match against Rabotnichki.

The Gostivar board order the team captain Alper Potuk to take the players out of the pitch right after Rabotnichki took a 2:1 lead. The match never continued and FFM later awarded a green table 3:0 to Rabotnichki.
“The incident that happened today is not against our opponent Rabotnichki. Our reaction is to the referee of the match, Igor Stojchevski! This referee is known for his scandalous management. He is not wanted by any team.” announced Gostivar after abandoning the match.
Today, the Disciplinary Committee within FFM brought decisions regarding the interrupted match Gostivar – Rabotnichki.
FK Gostivar is punished by deducting 9 (nine) points won in the current competition season and a fine in the amount of 2,500.00 euros for leaving the field of play in the match within the Round 29 of the 1.MFL between the teams of FK Gostivar and FK Rabotnichki. Gostivar is also fined 5,000.00 euros due to poor organization and presence of unofficial personnel in the fenced-off part of the field (official premises) in the match against Rabotnichki.
FK Gostivar is punished with a ban from playing 10 (ten) matches on its own field as a host, i.e. 100 kilometers outside the field they have registered as their home field (Boris Trajkovski stadium in Madjari, Skopje).
Disciplinary Committee was harsh on the team captain, the head coach and the club president:
Alper Potuk – a football player of FK Gostivar is punished with a ban from performing for a period of 2 (two) years for calling on direct participants in a match to leave the match.
Blazho Panov – head of the technical staff of FK Gostivar is punished with a ban from holding any position in football for a period of 2 (two) years for calling on the players of Gostivar to leave the field and to stop the match against Rabotnichki.
Enes Usta – president of FK Gostivar is punished with a ban from holding any position in football for a period of 2 (two) years for calling on the players of Gostivar to leave the field and to stop the match.
Additionally, the Disciplinary Committee announced that all players from FK Gostivar who were on the official match report for the match against Rabotnichki are fined 500.00 euros per player for abandoning the match.
Gostivar knew that their home ground will be suspended, so they already put the Blagoj Istatov stadium in Strumica and home ground for Sunday’s match against Pelister.
